A Night Of Unexpected Revolution

The next day at work, Raymond was surprised to see his brother.

Mikaela didn't know he had a brother.

"And who is this beauty with you?" he asked with a devilish smile.

"She is my secretary, and stay away from anything that is mine."

From the way they talked, Mikaela could figure out they weren't close at all.

"Dad is asking about you and our little sister," Lucas said, his voice laced with a mixture of concern and malice.

She could see the rage in his eyes the moment he mentioned their father, his jaw clenched and his fists balled. The air seemed to thicken with tension as Raymond's expression darkened, his eyes flashing with a deep-seated anger that made Mikaela take a step back.

Lucas's words had struck a nerve, and for a moment, she wondered what had happened between them to evoke such a strong reaction.

He turned to Mikaela, his eyes locking onto hers with an unmistakable intensity.

"I am Lucas… don't mind my brother; he doesn't want to introduce you to me," he said, his voice low and smooth.

He stretched out his hand for a handshake, his fingers brushing against hers as she accepted.

Mikaela knew they were in public, so the right thing to do was to accept his hand, but she couldn't shake off the feeling that Lucas was trouble.

The moment she accepted the handshake, he didn't want to let go of her hand, his fingers wrapping around hers like a vice."

"You are very beautiful, Raymond here wouldn't value you. Come work for me, and I'll pay you triple what he's paying you."

Raymond got angrier, and wanted to pounce on him when Mikaela held his hand.

"Mr. Williams, I like where I work; it doesn't matter how much you want to pay me."

Raymond didn't know what happened, but he calmed down the moment she touched him. He walked to the bar and ordered an entire bottle.

"Sir, you've had enough, please… we are in public," she said. He laughed at the mention of being in public.

He was about to drink another glass when she snatched the bottle and drank it. She wasn't a drinker and could count the number of times she'd had alcohol.

She repeated this three times… before he gave up.

"Come; I'll drop you home."

The party was already boring because Lucas was there.

The driver started the engine, and they both sat in the back seat.

"Mr. Will, are you angry?" He sighed.

"Shut up, you're drunk." She touched his face with her palm.

"You're so cute." She got up and sat on his lap. Raymond was shocked by her action.

"Mikaela, what are you doing?" "She kissed him before he could react, and he was kissing her back, his lips devouring hers with a hunger that left her breathless.

One of his hands moved to her ass, his fingers tracing the curve of her hips, sending shivers down her spine, while the other cupped her breast, his thumb grazing her nipple, sending waves of pleasure coursing through her body.

She moaned out, the sound muffled by his lips, and the driver pulled over, his voice a polite but firm interruption."

"Sir, we are here." He felt like cursing the driver. The driver opened the door for them.

"I don't wanna go home..." She threw her hands around his neck, kissing again in front of the driver.

As they stepped out of the car, Mikaela stumbled and almost fell, but Raymond caught her.

"Are you okay?" he asked, his voice filled with concern. She nodded, still dazed from the alcohol.

The twins, Adrian and Adriana, were waiting at the door, looking worried.

"Big sis, what happened to you?" Adrian asked, rushing to her side.

"I'm fine, little brother," she replied, trying to smile.

"Can I come in, and take her to her room first?" Adrian led the way.

"Handsome uncle, are you my big sister's boyfriend? I would like you to be my brother-in-law," Adriana said.

"I am her boss, not her boyfriend," Raymond replied.

Adrian opened the door, and Raymond was surprised to see her room. Her clothes were scattered around the couch and bed, books were on the floor, and even her bra.

Raymond put her to bed and was about to leave when she held him back.

"Please stay." She fell asleep again.

They heard a knock on the door. Adrian opened it to reveal their neighbor, Mrs. Thompson, who had a concerned look on her face.

'Is Mikaela okay? I heard some noise coming from the apartment,' she asked, peeking inside.

Adrian reassured her that Mikaela was fine, just a bit tipsy from a party.

Mrs. Thompson's concern deepened as she gazed at Mikaela's sleeping form.

'I'll take care of her, I'll stay with her tonight,' she offered, but Adrian shook his head.

'Thank you, Mrs. Thompson, but we'll be fine. I'll call Aunt Olivia, she'll know what to do.'

Mrs. Thompson nodded reluctantly, '"Alright, but if you need anything, don't hesitate to call. I'll be right next door."

She nodded understandingly and bid them goodnight as he ushered Mrs. Thompson out of the room, his eyes never leaving Mikaela's face.

"Don't worry, handsome uncle; you'll marry my sister and become her boss and boyfriend," Adriana said.

Raymond was amused by the little girl.

"How did my sister get drunk?" Adrian asked like a detective.
