Maxie was smart and grew up living an average life with his twin brother James. Being the epitome of boring, his brother was everything he was not, claiming charm, popularity, and an uncanny voracity for life. Longing to step out of his brother's shadow, Maxie begs James to take him to an underground rave where he gets pressured to engage in all manner of nefarious activity, and his unassuming reality falls apart piece by piece, just as the sky did that night...
