The night sky was painted black, scattered with twinkling stars. A bonfire blazed on the plains, casting a warm orange glow over the two little figures sitting beside it.
One of them—a young girl—was happily devouring meat.
Kaso glanced over at her and smiled.
Planet Sadala had been fully explored. It was about time to bring the Saiyans home.
Because of his intervention, the Dragon Ball story had already veered off its original path. Originally, all Saiyans—except a handful—were meant to perish in the explosion of Planet Vegeta. But now, nearly two hundred Saiyans had survived.
Soon, they would return to this land. With the special nature of Planet Sadala, Kaso could hardly imagine what heights the Saiyan race might reach in the future.
Now that Planet Vegeta was destroyed, the main Dragon Ball plotline was about to begin. Just thinking about it, Kaso couldn't help but feel a surge of blood-pumping excitement—perhaps an effect of his Saiyan blood.
He couldn't wait to meet Kakarot!
He couldn't wait to battle Kakarot!
Kaso pressed his lips together. He had to level up fast. If he really wanted to fight the character he loved most from his past life, his current strength wasn't nearly enough.
Sure, his battle power was now 13,000, and Goku's was only around 2 points at this stage. But this was Goku—the protagonist. By the time Vegeta invaded Earth, a single near-death recovery could push Goku far beyond him!
Of course, Kaso didn't think he'd lose to Goku. After all, he was an elite-class Saiyan, with full knowledge of the future. Even if Goku was the protagonist, he'd have a hard time keeping up!
Suddenly—
Hic!
Ausbi'er hiccuped unexpectedly and quickly covered her mouth, blushing. "Ka… Kaso-gege, I'm full now!"
"Good. I'm glad you're full." Kaso chuckled helplessly.
What a little glutton.
…
Back on Planet Fe'er.
Over the next month, Kaso and Ausbi'er worked tirelessly to transport all the surviving Saiyans to Planet Sadala.
The journey between Fe'er and Sadala was unimaginably long. After a month of back-and-forth teleportation, the two of them were absolutely exhausted.
With the last Saiyan relocated, both Kaso and Ausbi'er collapsed on the ground, panting hard.
Ausbi'er's face was pale. Her little feet were trembling. Even her stomach, which was growling for food, had no energy left to complain.
Compared to the two of them, the Saiyans off in the distance were full of excitement as they explored their new home—completely ignoring the miserable state of their two saviors.
Truly heartless!
Soon, cheers erupted among the Saiyans.
"This place feels amazing!"
"I can tell—it's not an ordinary planet!"
Hearing this, Bardock broke into a cold sweat. You say that like you're the only one who figured it out…
He looked over at Kaso lying on the ground and couldn't help wondering: How did this kid even think to restore Planet Sadala?
Sadala had been destroyed ages ago. Bardock had never known what their ancestral home looked like, but the moment he set foot on it, he could sense its uniqueness.
He furrowed his brow. Still, compared to Sadala, Kaso himself was far more extraordinary.
Restoring their ancestral planet using the Dragon Balls—that move alone had been a stroke of genius.
"This kid knows everything… is his ability to foresee the future really that powerful?"
Clairvoyance.
Bardock shook his head. His own ability only gave him brief glimpses of key events. But with Kaso around, perhaps the Saiyan race would go farther than ever before.
Bardock turned to Garis. "Start helping everyone settle in. From now on, this is our new home."
He glanced again at Kaso, lying weakly on the ground. So young and already spent like this… seems like he still needs more training.
Kaso ground his teeth.
Damn you, Bardock! Are you blind? Can't you at least ask if I'm okay?
The moment he recovered, he was going to beat Bardock to a pulp!
…
On Planet Sadala.
Saiyans flew across the skies, carrying stacks of lumber on their shoulders. They were building homes.
In a beautiful mountain valley, a clear river flowed nearby. Wooden houses were being erected all around.
Now that shelter was handled, the Saiyans had moved on to their favorite activity—training.
Elsewhere—
Two figures darted through the sky, one large and one small.
"Hah!" Bardock shouted, raising both hands toward Kaso. A golden energy blast shot forth.
"This again?" Kaso smirked with disdain.
From what he could sense, Bardock's power level was just over 10,000. After exhausting himself transferring people for a month, Kaso's own power had grown to 14,000.
This time, he was going to beat Bardock so hard, the man would see stars.
Expressionless, Kaso charged straight at the oncoming energy blast.
Whoosh!
His speed was so fast, it tore the air apart.
Boom!
Just before impact, Kaso twisted to the side and slipped past the blast. Then he surged forward—straight along the trajectory of Bardock's attack.
"I knew you weren't simple," Bardock muttered.
He wasn't surprised.
Ever since Kaso had returned to Planet Vegeta, Bardock had sensed something was off. His scouter read only a few hundred power, but something had felt wrong.
Then Kaso revealed Frieza's plot and helped evacuate the Saiyans. Bardock knew—Kaso had been hiding his true strength.
Bardock had barely finished firing his blast before he vanished from sight.
Moments later, loud crashes rang out across the sky. Left, right, up, down—each collision sent shockwaves through the air.
BOOM!
Their surging auras kicked up a hurricane, uprooting trees and sending debris flying. Even those thousands of meters away could feel the aftershocks.
A gust blew toward Garis and the others. They glanced toward Bardock's direction—then went right back to the building.
At this point, Bardock and Kaso fighting was nothing new.
"Hahahaha! This is great!" Bardock laughed heartily.
Kaso hovered in the air, coldly sneering.
Great? Oh, I'll give you something really great in a second.
In an instant, Kaso vanished.
Bardock's laughter abruptly stopped.
Where'd he go?
"You looking for me?" a voice whispered behind him.
When did he—?!
Bardock tried to defend, but it was already too late.
Like a ghost, Kaso had slipped behind him unnoticed.
A leg sweep, a body blow, and a hook strike—one after another, every attack slammed into Bardock's back.
"You sneaky brat!" Bardock howled in pain.
Kaso's power was far higher than expected—easily over 10,000!
A little kid with this kind of strength? Terrifying!
Bardock had dropped his guard—and Kaso seized the opening mercilessly.
In a clash of real experts, a single mistake could cost everything. And now Bardock was the one being overwhelmed. He couldn't even fight back.
BOOM!
With the force of a lightning strike, Kaso smashed Bardock down with a single blow.
Whoosh!
Bardock flew like a cannonball, crashing into the ground below.
BOOM!
A shockwave rippled outward. Trees collapsed in all directions, and a massive crater—over ten meters wide—was gouged into the earth, its edges laced with cracks like a shattered mirror.
