In a forest in the northern part of Earth,
There stood a towering structure that pierced the clouds—Korin Tower.
Its surface was etched with ancient and timeworn engravings.
From the weathered look of the carvings, it was clear this tower had existed for a long time.
Some said it dated back to Earth's ancient times.
Others believed it had been built by civilizations from another universe.
No one knew for sure which version was true.
At the top of the tower sat a feline-shaped creature, standing upright in front of three water jars.
A cat walking on two legs always looked a little off.
That cat was Korin, the tower's guardian.
He had lived for over 800 years, training martial artists who climbed the tower.
At this moment, Korin was sweating profusely, his eyes fixed on the water jar as if he'd just seen something terrifying.
"That energy… it's terrifying!"
Korin pulled out a handkerchief from somewhere and wiped the sweat from his furry face.
Those two kids—who were they? Where had they come from?
He was full of questions.
He had never sensed such overwhelming energy on Earth before.
Even though the kids were trying to suppress their power, they were doing it so clumsily that anyone could tell they were bursting with dangerous energy.
Korin guessed that if either of them let loose, it wouldn't just be a crater—they might blow up the whole planet.
He broke into a fresh sweat just thinking about it.
If those two turned evil, there was no one on Earth who could stop them.
He looked upward with concern.
Even "that guy" up there probably wouldn't be able to handle them...
...
Above the clouds, at the very top of Korin Tower—
A floating Lookout hovered in the void.
The temple was dome-shaped, with a small indentation at the bottom.
Red and white painted walls, and a spiral staircase hung along its side.
Climbing the stairs brought you to the surface, where white tiles paved the floor.
Lush greenery grew along the borders, and a long path stretched toward a large central building.
A faint white mist floated through the air, giving the place an ethereal, almost divine quality.
At the edge of the platform stood an elderly Namekian, robed and solemn.
Beside him stood a short, dark-skinned man in Indian-style robes—Mr. Popo.
The Namekian was none other than Kami, the guardian of Earth.
He had fled Namek as a child and, after enduring many hardships, had eventually become Earth's god.
In all his time, Earth had never faced alien invaders—only natural disasters and internal human conflict.
Now, two kids had appeared out of nowhere, each one containing explosive levels of power.
Kami stared down at the lower world, his face full of worry.
Just like Korin, Kami had no idea who these two kids were, or where they had come from.
To him, they were like two powder kegs waiting to explode—ticking time bombs that could destroy the planet.
Even if his other half—Demon King Piccolo—were here, he'd probably drop to his knees instantly.
If Kaso truly intended to harm Earth, Kami knew he would be utterly helpless to stop him.
He sighed deeply, "Let's just hope... they're not here to cause trouble."
...
Down below.
Skyscrapers surrounded them, the streets bustling with people and hover cars.
High-tech products lined the stores on every block.
Ausbi'er clutched Kaso's hand, her eyes lighting up at every shiny trinket and flashing sign like a country girl visiting the big city for the first time.
Her gaze darted left and right, her mouth slightly open.
Drool even started to slip from the corner of her lips.
"Kaso-gege! That looks yummy!"
"We'll go get some later, be patient."
Kaso reached out and patted her head with a helpless smile.
She really was just like a young Goku—couldn't walk past good food without stopping.
Luckily, she was obedient.
As long as Kaso said something, she would listen.
Suddenly—
A commotion erupted ahead.
"Hurry it up!"
"Grab everything and let's go!"
"If we don't move, the cops'll be here any second!"
A group of burly men wearing black stockings on their heads were robbing a shop.
The leader wielded a machine gun, grabbing as many capsule-shaped items from the display case as he could.
His lackeys were doing the same, while the shop's employees lay trembling on the floor, not daring to resist.
Kaso watched the scene with a curious look.
He remembered in the anime there was a bandit girl who would sneeze and instantly switch personalities—and hairstyles too.
She had quite a bit of screen time in the early arcs but vanished later on.
He tried to remember her name… but it didn't come to him.
She was probably still a kid right now anyway.
"Alright, let's go!"
The lead robber barked a command and led his gang out of the store.
The thugs swaggered out into the street.
Pedestrians scattered at the sight, hiding in alleys and behind cars, not daring to get involved.
Kaso shook his head.
He could sense their power levels—barely 5.
Now he understood why Raditz had looked down on Earthlings so much.
These guys were beyond pathetic.
Not even worth his time.
He was about to leave when he glanced back at the store—
A Capsule Corp logo gleamed on the sign.
"Oh?"
"They're stealing from Capsule Corporation?"
Kaso's lips curled into a devilish smile.
He'd been planning to meet Dr. Brief to ask him for some gravity chambers anyway.
Might as well bring a little gift for their first meeting.
The robbers made it to their getaway van and were piling in.
"Kaso-gege…?"
Ausbi'er looked around, confused.
Kaso had suddenly vanished.
At that moment—
A flash of white light streaked across the street.
In a blink, Kaso appeared in front of the thugs.
And then—he vanished again.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
One by one, the robbers collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
They didn't even know what hit them.
Onlookers backed away in fear, unsure of what just happened.
Kaso casually took the sack from the gang leader's hands and opened it.
It was packed full of capsules—dozens of them.
This haul was probably worth a small fortune.
He waved at Ausbi'er in the distance.
She skipped over happily and followed him into the store.
"I brought your capsules back. I'd like to speak with Dr. Brief if possible."
The store staff were immensely grateful for getting their merchandise back.
They immediately contacted Capsule Corp headquarters to report that someone wanted to meet Dr. Brief.
When Dr. Brief heard about the robbery and the mysterious youth who not only retrieved the capsules but also requested to see him, he agreed to the meeting.
...
In West City, Earth's most technologically advanced metropolis—
Two small figures now stood in front of the Brief family's mansion.
