I’m going to face Lin Chaoyuan

The Binding of Su Tao Jue

"And this mantra...Su Tao Jue

is a bond so unbreakable

that it can neither be severed by blade,

nor scorched by fire."

"Until you are freed from this bond,

you are nothing but a sealed sigil

and as long as this mantra exists,

you cannot open the door."

Those words struck like thunder.

Their world shattered.

The ground beneath them gone.

The sky above them collapsing.

Yu Sui and Mo Yan stood frozen,

leaning against one another,

trying to hold each other upright

as their truth unraveled.

The Grandmaster, her voice calm yet heavy with compassion, gently said:

"Yu Sui. Mo Yan.

None of this… is your fault."

"This is the will of fate.

And as far as I know

Fate never makes a mistake."

The weight of those words

only made their chests heavier.

Mo Yan's breath caught in his throat.

Yu Sui's fists clenched.

They both thought the same thought:

"Maybe… maybe it would've been better if we had never known."

With hearts full of sorrow and eyes shimmering with tears,

they stepped out of the Grandmaster's Hall.

The ancient door behind them

the one shrouded in mist,

the one they could never open

slowly faded into the fog,

as if it had never existed at all.

A Choice Made

Outside, something had changed in Yu Sui.

His expression .. no longer soft.

His resolve .. unshakable.

He turned to Mo Yan, his tone colder than usual:

"You should go to the allied nation.

Seek help from the Ming Jing Men sect.

As for me…

I'm going to face Lin Chaoyuan."

A silence fell between them.

The breeze didn't dare interrupt.

Yu Sui's eyes were fire.

But Mo Yan stepped forward, firm:

"No."

Yu Sui looked surprised. "What?"

Mo Yan (calmly):

"I'm coming with you."

Yu Sui's brows furrowed. "This isn't your fight"

But Mo Yan didn't let him finish.

"I'm coming with you."

"That's all."

Yu Sui tried one last time, his voice lowering:

"Why won't you listen…?"

But Mo Yan only smiled .. a soft, sorrowful smile.

He stepped closer.

"Because I'd rather die by your side…

than live knowing I left you alone."
