Two Paths, One Bond
Yu Sui turned to leave
but before he could take a step,
he roared, his voice full of thunder:
"You have to go, Mo Yan!"
"You're the only one who can tell them the truth."
"Lin Chaoyuan will never let a message reach them.
Just like he never has."
Mo Yan stood frozen,
his eyes brimming with tears,
his heart shattering in silence.
He turned away…
a stone tied around his chest,
and walked.
He didn't look back
until the very last moment.
Just once.
Just to see him one more time.
Yu Sui stood still, staring at his fading figure.
But then
his heart couldn't take it.
"Mo Yan!"
He ran.
Ran with all his strength.
And when he reached him
he threw his arms around him,
holding him like the world would end.
His tears poured like a river.
Mo Yan embraced him tightly,
burying his pain into Yu Sui's shoulder.
And right then
The Su Tao Jue mantra flared to life,
pulsing with a divine light between their foreheads,
as if the heavens themselves were blessing their unbreakable bond.
No words were needed.
Mo Yan stepped back slowly.
His eyes still wet.
His soul still torn.
But he walked on.
Yu Sui watched until he disappeared into the trees…
And then
A Storm Awakened
His eyes no longer trembled.
They blazed.
Yu Sui turned back,
not as a boy,
but as a warrior with vengeance in his bones.
"Enough," he whispered.
Each step forward
felt like an earthquake.
His aura spread like wildfire.
"If I must burn this entire world to reach him...so be it."
The same road lay ahead.
But this time,
his shadow carried a storm.
