Lao Duan was still standing by the riverbank, waiting for someone. His eyes were fixed on the flowing river, but his mind was yearning for someone else. Suddenly, there was the sound of footsteps behind him. Lao Duan turned around along with the others, and there stood Lin Chaoyuan, accompanied by some of his officials.
Lao Duan bowed respectfully before his father, and the others followed suit. But Lin Chaoyuan's eyes held not just betrayal, but a deep-rooted hatred. Speaking in that demonic voice of his....the one that had silenced many innocent voices forever.....he said:
"If you want to become a distinguished King of the Liuguang Sect, you must prove yourself."
His eyes gleamed with an unspeakable coldness.
"End Yu Sui today."
"And that ice statue Mo Yan, who pretends to be calm all the time... I'll deal with him myself."
Could a traitor ever truly care for anyone? No, never.
This was nothing but Lin Chaoyuan's vile plan to trap his own son.
He knew full well what Yu Sui truly was....no one returned from fighting him, not even ashes.
So he baited his son with the lure of the royal throne and sent him off to kill Yu Sui.

A little while later…
Butterfly Mountain…
Everyone's eyes were wide with amazement. The mountain truly looked like a home of butterflies. Colorful flowers bloomed everywhere, long grass danced in the breeze, tall and beautiful trees surrounded them, and butterflies fluttered all around. It felt like paradise.
This mountain had a special charm:
There were no birds, no predators....nothing that could harm the butterflies. Every year, thousands of butterflies came here to lay their eggs, adding a magical beauty to the place.
Everyone was busy playing with the butterflies.
Yu Sui and Duie were completely occupied trying to catch them, and even Su Nian, who absolutely loved butterflies, couldn't hide his joy.
But sometimes, Su Nian and Duie would engage in a silent war....an intense battle through glances alone, deadlier than any swordfight.
Yu Sui would stop Duie from reacting.
And Mo Yan?
He was completely lost in Yu Sui's playful antics.
He just stood in one spot, watching him leap and chase butterflies, playing around with Duie, completely enchanted.
