Chapter 46: The Silent-Silent Fruit’s Strongest Attack Method…

"Sniper squad, prepare immediately! Kaido has entered the interception zone! Wormhole No. 4 is about to open!" Bins shouted.

"Ready!" several sniper team members responded, holding bizarre-looking rifles.

"Wormhole No. 4 is open!" Bins bellowed.

Wormhole No. 4 was composed of a row of small circular mirrors, and the snipers aimed their guns precisely at these mirrors. The moment Bins shouted that the wormhole was open, the snipers saw Kaido on the other side—and almost simultaneously, they pulled their triggers. Bullets blasted out from those strange sniper rifles at breakneck speed.

"Pfft! Pfft! Pfft!"

Kaido was shot in the forehead, temples, throat, and both eyes at once. Blood spurted violently from each of those wounds.

"Aaagh! That hurts!" Kaido roared, clutching his bleeding eyes and shaking his head furiously.

These strange guns were in fact an ingenious fusion of the Impact Dials from Skypiea and advanced firearms from Qingdao, repurposed into anti-Kaido snipers. Combined with Rosinante's own "invented" bullets, their penetration power was terrifying—likely the most powerful sniper weapons in the world.

Kaido, already paralyzed by electricity, had been struck from close range.

Impact Dials produce shock forces ten times stronger than ordinary Impact Shells. When used as propellants in guns, the shock force became immense. Under such extreme impact, It pierced through Kaido, blood gushed from his eyes, and even though his forehead and throat were too tough to penetrate fully, they still bled.

Just as everyone was about to cheer for a hard-won victory, Kaido removed his hand and opened his eyes again—though his pupils had turned blank and unfocused.

For a behemoth like Kaido, even being shot through with sniper rounds didn't amount to serious injury. And with his monstrous regenerative ability, even those wounds were already healing.

"What kind of monster is this?! His temples and eyes were shot through, and he's completely fine?!" the snipers exclaimed in horror.

"RAAAHHH!!" Kaido let out a furious roar that echoed like a dragon's howl. A savage and domineering aura exploded from his body like a primeval beast awakening from slumber.

The clouds trembled. A devastating power burst from Kaido's body, and in an instant, he broke free from the lightning restraints and the cloud chains, charging straight toward Rosinante in a crazed rampage.

"This is bad! Kaido's gone berserk!" Rosinante exclaimed in shock.

Before Rosinante could even react fully, Kaido was already in front of him, swinging a massive fist down toward his head.

"Shadow Flash—Rapid Blink!" Rosinante unleashed his speed to the absolute limit, zipping through the air in blinding streaks of motion. Each flash of light marked his rapid movement, and in a storm of phantom steps, his strikes slammed into Kaido.

Despite the enormous difference in size between them, Rosinante's furious assault caused Kaido to stagger repeatedly.

The Shadow Flash technique combined lightning-fast speed and stealth, making it impossible for Kaido to locate Rosinante's position. All he could do was weather the flurry of attacks blindly.

But no matter how fiercely Rosinante attacked, his blows couldn't inflict significant harm.

Kaido's defensive prowess was nearly impenetrable, and his regenerative ability was even more insane than Rosinante's own injury-suppressing technique. Any injuries Rosinante managed to deal were instantly healed.

Worse still, Rosinante himself was starting to breathe heavily, exhausting himself with every high-powered blow.

Just as Rosinante was wracking his brain for a solution, Kaido suddenly whipped his head around and, with terrifying precision, swatted at Rosinante mid-charge!

BOOM!

Rosinante was blasted away by Kaido's massive palm.

Shadow Flash was blindingly fast—even Rosinante had trouble fully controlling it.

At such breakneck speed, he couldn't change direction easily. Normally, his hidden presence and blinding speed made him undetectable, even to the most perceptive opponents.

But once someone was able to sense his movements and match his speed, this kind of perfect ambush could instantly turn into a disastrous counter.

That palm strike hit him dead-on—Rosinante had zero time to react. It was like he'd just thrown himself at Kaido to be smacked away.

"This guy is a total freak... Even though he couldn't sense my presence, his instincts alone let him strike so precisely? What a monster," Rosinante muttered as he stood back up, blood trailing from the corner of his mouth.

He had taken some serious damage from that palm strike. Although the injuries had been muted by his silent healing ability, the blood he coughed up when hit still lingered on his lips.

"You're not bad yourself. To fight me for this long, and still stand after taking a direct hit—impressive. You're worth fighting," Kaido said, eyes flashing with killing intent and madness as he charged at Rosinante once again.

Just then, the cloud chains reappeared, wrapping around Kaido and slowing his charge.

"You annoying rats! Get lost!" Kaido roared, and a wave of power exploded from his body, shattering the cloud restraints.

"Impossible! Four chains shattered instantly?!" Shaxia cried out in disbelief.

As she gasped in shock, Kaido's punch had already been launched—straight toward the black hole that connected to her.

"Not good!" Bins' expression changed drastically and he immediately shut down the wormhole.

Fortunately, Bins was fast. Before Kaido's fist could cross through, the wormhole closed just in time. However, the shockwave from that punch still passed through the collapsing portal, blasting Shaxia backwards and slamming her into one of the palace pillars.

But Kaido didn't stop. He turned and charged toward Rosinante again, fists swinging like wrecking balls.

"Assault team, support! Get ready to support!" Bins was terrified by Kaido's frenzied assault. The power in Kaido's fists made him fear for Rosinante's life.

In response, Ryan and Winter suddenly appeared in front of Kaido, wielding laser blades powered by Light Dials. Without a word, they struck at Kaido's arms.

"Don't annoy me!" Kaido bellowed.

With a roar like a primordial beast, his aura blasted out, causing Ryan and Winter to falter in mid-attack. Kaido's massive fist swept out toward them.

CRACK!

The laser swords shattered. Ryan and Winter were both sent flying, coughing up blood in unison.

The immense damage overwhelmed their injury suppression abilities, draining their stamina entirely—only barely preserving their lives.

Kaido was momentarily stunned when he sensed they still had a faint breath left in them.

That punch had carried seven to eighty percent of his full strength. If these two were just normal grunts, they should've been pulverized on the spot.

The fact that they weren't enraged Kaido even more. He raised his fist again, intending to crush the two annoying flies for good.

"Shadow Flash!" Rosinante's face turned grim. He shot out like a streak of lightning, launching a high-speed kick to intercept Kaido's attack.

Rosinante's kick collided directly with Kaido's punch.

A massive force surged through Rosinante's leg, forcing him backward against his will.

But Rosinante knew—if he retreated now, Ryan and Winter were dead for sure.

"Silence: Attack Null!" In a flash, Rosinante activated his Devil Fruit power to silence the force on his own leg. Simultaneously, he spun mid-air and launched another strike at Kaido.

And in that very moment, an idea struck him.

Rosinante released the silenced power from earlier.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The explosion of force from his leg actually pushed Kaido back three steps!

That kick didn't just carry Rosinante's own strength—it also carried the redirected force of Kaido's own punch.

As mentioned before, the Silence Fruit merely silences force temporarily—it doesn't erase it. That force still exists, lying dormant until released.

This was different from muting an enemy's attack. When force was applied to Rosinante's body and then silenced, it remained within him, waiting. Once released, it still acted on him—but if redirected cleverly, it could become his own weapon.

This kick had taken the power Kaido used on Rosinante, reversed its direction, and smashed it back at Kaido.

"Incredible... So it can be used this way too!" Rosinante's eyes lit up in sudden realization.

What had been just a spontaneous idea had now sparked a whole new strategy in his mind.

All this time, Rosinante's biggest weakness was his lack of raw offensive power. Even though the Silence Fruit had granted him all kinds of creative abilities, he had never managed to develop a truly devastating attack technique.

But now—this sudden inspiration—this might be the most perfect offensive use of the Silence Fruit yet!
