Chapter 34: Collect All Six!

"There's no time left. The commotion here is too big—someone will notice sooner or later. Looks like I'll have to take a gamble!"

"Suicune, look into my eyes!"

It had already been nearly an hour since Ash arrived. The growing disturbance was bound to draw attention. He had to act quickly.

"Suui!"

Suicune responded with a low cry. Though it didn't fully understand Ash's words, it obeyed. The moment it locked eyes with his Sharingan, its consciousness was drawn into a crimson world.

"Amazing, isn't it? This is my realm. No matter how long we stay here, only a second will pass in the real world," Ash said, suddenly appearing beside Suicune, watching the Legendary Pokémon glance around in confusion.

Though Tsukuyomi usually lasted no more than seventy-two hours, as long as it wasn't used for torture and Ash had enough energy, he could stretch its duration indefinitely. It was one of the more broken techniques of the Sharingan—another ace up his sleeve.

"I brought you here to help you learn some new moves. The situation outside has gotten out of hand. With my current strength, I can't afford to draw too much attention."

Ash then began teaching Suicune the Water-style techniques he had developed—a fusion of shinobi tactics and elemental mastery. While Suicune's level was already higher than Tyranitar's, the sheer scale of their battle would attract unwanted eyes. He had to end it quickly and quietly.

Over ten days passed in the Tsukuyomi world.

During that time, Suicune mastered a majority of the Water Style skills Ash had to offer. Ash was thrilled with the progress. Even though he'd shared his secret techniques, the payoff was more than worth it—especially if it meant capturing a Tyranitar.

"Release."

A crack split the red sky of the Tsukuyomi realm. The illusion crumbled slowly, peeling away from their senses until Suicune and Ash were once again back in the real world.

"Suui!!!"

Suicune howled, the roar echoing with newfound strength. The effects of the illusionary training didn't just stay in the mind—what it had learned was deeply etched into its being, enhancing its power dramatically.

Ding~!

Name: Suicune

Level: Tier 2 Legendary

Abilities: Purify, Water Absorb

Type: Pure Water

Potential: 100% (85% Developed)

Water Law Affinity: 100% (31% Developed)

To rise from a Tier 3 Legendary to Tier 2 in just over ten days—albeit subjective time—was unheard of. If anyone else knew, they'd be stunned beyond belief.

"Suicune, Water Fang!"

Ash's command rang out.

The surrounding water energy surged as Suicune summoned sharp, shark-like water constructs that streaked toward Tyranitar like torpedoes.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The attacks landed one after another. Tyranitar roared in pain as the water tore into it. Its fists glowed with white light—it retaliated with Mach Punch!

Bang!

But Suicune was too fast. The move missed completely. With its new power and speed—and a fresh breakthrough in level—Tyranitar had no hope of keeping up.

"Final move—Water Prison!"

Ash's eyes gleamed. Tyranitar was fading fast.

At his command, Suicune opened its jaws and gathered an enormous sphere of high-pressure water. It shot forward like a cannonball—too fast for Tyranitar to react. The water engulfed it completely.

"TYRAAAN!!!"

A final roar—and then silence.

Tyranitar, drained and immobilized, slumped to the ground. It was out cold.

Seeing the opportunity, Ash immediately pulled a Poké Ball from his belt and hurled it forward.

After a flash of light and some intense shaking, the Luxury Ball finally settled down.

The capture was successful—Ash had just caught Tyranitar, the Desert Tyrant.

"Hmph! It took some effort, but I finally got it. As expected of the Desert Tyrant—what overwhelming strength!"

Ash smiled as he looked at the Luxury Ball in his hand, clearly in high spirits.

"With things wrapped up here, I should get going too."

He turned to Suicune and added, "Be careful from now on. Not all humans are good. Just like among Pokémon, there's darkness in our kind too."

After storing Tyranitar's Poké Ball, Ash made to leave—but Suicune suddenly stepped in front of him with a determined cry.

"Suui!!"

Ash paused. "You… want to come with me?"

"Suui!!!"

He blinked in surprise. "But… aren't you one of the three Legendary Beasts who serve Ho-Oh? Is it really alright for you to be captured like this?"

Suicune nodded firmly.

Ash frowned. According to what he knew, Legendary Pokémon with assigned duties couldn't simply be captured—it could throw nature itself out of balance. Unless… a replacement of equal power and type was available.

"So that's how it is… You're not bound by any duties. You're just repaying a favor."

Realization dawned on him. Ash nodded.

"Well then, I won't say no to a free Legendary."

He took out another Luxury Ball and gently tapped it against Suicune's forehead. With a soft flash of light, Suicune was drawn into the ball—captured without resistance.

From that moment on, Ash's team was complete.

His full six-member lineup now consisted of:

Onix – Rock-type

Pikachu – Electric-type

Growlithe – Fire-type

Pidgeotto – Flying-type

Tyranitar – Dark/Rock-type

Suicune – Water-type

A balanced and powerful team. Ash grinned in satisfaction.

As for the issue of certain Pokémon being far stronger than him? Ash wasn't concerned. His own strength wasn't ordinary, and both Tyranitar and Suicune would naturally obey his commands.

"Come out, Suicune!"

Ash released the newly captured Legendary and immediately hopped onto its back.

With incredible speed, the duo raced toward Cerulean City—the very scene witnessed earlier.

"Suicune and Tyranitar are already at the Champion and Legendary levels, so their potential isn't in question. But my other Pokémon are still at the Quasi-Elite stage. I'll need to find a suitable world and use Tsukuyomi to train them."

Ash narrowed his eyes in thought.

"I didn't expect the Sharingan's powers to be this practical. Honestly, I don't get why Uchiha Itachi never used Tsukuyomi for training in the Naruto world."

He lay on Suicune's back, pondering his unique abilities. The mental realm of the Sharingan, especially Tsukuyomi, offered immense potential.

Tsukuyomi was reputed as the strongest Genjutsu in the Naruto world—and that title wasn't just for show. In comparison, Uchiha Shisui's Kotoamatsukami wasn't so much illusion as it was high-level hypnosis. As far as true illusions went, Tsukuyomi was unmatched.

What Ash didn't realize, however, was that Itachi never used Tsukuyomi for extended training because doing so placed immense strain on the user's mind. Sustaining that illusionary world required overwhelming mental strength.

That was something Ash had—because his soul carried the experience of two lifetimes. Without it, he'd be just like Itachi: crippled after a single use of Tsukuyomi.

"Damn it… my eyes are killing me."

He winced, touching the corners of his eyes.

"Have I been using Tsukuyomi too much lately? My vision's deteriorating like crazy…"

A sharp sting surged through his optic nerves. Without the extra mental endurance from his reincarnation, just one extended Tsukuyomi would've left him unconscious.
