The next morning, the atmosphere in the manor was much more relaxed. The storm had passed, and the sun was shining brightly through the windows. Vanya was still a bit shaken from the events of the previous night, but she was trying to put on a brave face.

Mr. Jones and Theresa were discussing the guest who had arrived the night before. "I'm glad he was able to find shelter here," Mr. Jones said. "It's not every day that we get visitors especially in the middle of a storm."

Theresa nodded in agreement. "Yes, and he's a royal official, so we couldn't very well turn him away. But I have to say, I'm a bit concerned about Vanya. She's still shaken from the encounter."

Mr. Jones nodded sympathetically. "I'll call for the physician to come and check on her. Maybe he can give her something to calm her nerves."

Theresa nodded, and Mr. Jones went off to make the arrangements. Meanwhile, Mrs. Rue had returned to work after spending the day with her family. She had heard about the events of the previous night and had made a special soup for Vanya.

"Hello, dear," Mrs. Rue said, as she entered Vanya's room. "I heard you had a bit of a scare last night. I've made some soup to help calm your nerves."

Vanya smiled weakly, grateful for Mrs. Rue's kindness. "Thank you, Mrs. Rue," she said. "I'm just a bit shaken, I think."

Mrs. Rue nodded and handed Vanya a bowl of steaming hot soup. "Drink this, dear," she said. "It'll help you feel better."

As Vanya sipped the soup, she felt a sense of relief wash over her. Maybe things would be okay after all.

Later that afternoon, they received a royal entourage with a delivery bearing the royal seal. The servant handed Theresa a letter, which she opened with a mixture of curiosity and trepidation.

"What is it?" Mr. Jones asked, noticing the look on Theresa's face.

"It's an invitation to attend a royal banquet," Theresa replied. "The royal house is hosting a gathering, and we've been invited by envoy of Lord Alexander Valoric.

Mr. Jones's face lit up with excitement. "That's a great honor," he said. "We can't refuse, of course. It would be considered an insult to the royal family."

Theresa nodded, her expression still concerned. "I know," she said. "we can only oblige the invitation, we'd make the most of the opportunity but I'm not sure I'm comfortable with this. There's something about it that doesn't feel right."

Mr. Jones placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry, Theresa," he said. "It'll be a great opportunity for us to meet the king and other members of the royal family. I'm sure it'll be a wonderful experience, this should be a gift of appreciation from our visitor, why else should we be invited to a "royal" gathering.

As the news spread throughout the house, the staff began to buzz with excitement. Paddy, in particular, was thrilled. "I have a cousin who works in the royal lower house in the main city," she said. "This is going to be an amazing opportunity for me to meet with her it's been a long time, how exciting ."

Vanya, who was sitting in the library, felt a mix of emotions when she heard the news. She was excited at the prospect of attending a royal banquet, but she was also a bit apprehensive. What would it be like? Would she be able to handle the pressure and that man she saw would he also be here since he claimed to be the royal friend.

As she sat there, lost in thought, Theresa came to find her. "Vanya, dear," she said. "We're going to have to start making arrangements for the trip to the main city. Help me with the list love, shoes, new dresses, we need allot my little rose, come now, hurry you abd paddy should make it, We'll be leaving in two days' time, the banquet is in four days.

Vanya nodded, feeling a sense of excitement build up inside her. She was going to the main city, and she was going to attend a royal banquet. It was going to be an adventure she would never forget.

The group that would be attending the banquet consisted of Theresa, Vanya, Paddy, and Joseph. They would have to get things sorted out starting from the next day, but for now, they were just excited about the prospect of attending the royal gathering.

As the day drew to a close, Vanya couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. What would the next few days bring? She was about to find out.
