Hallelujah, hallelujah it's another good day to meet each other here, in Paradise street where chaos had a roof.
Coincidence? I think not. So don't forget to learn and enjoy this chapter while you can. Moments change.
But , first let me take you outside the residence for half the day, I have an errand to run in town.
And honey, put on your official outfit because, Fiona's boss is a menace to her and we don't want to make this worse for her.
This girl, she never asks for help through any hardships. I know that because, I practically raised her and not once have I heard her cry for a shoulder to cry on.
Could be her pride but, you can't blame a mother from worrying about her strongest girl.
She doesn't say it out loud but, what hurts her the most it's how everyone's faces are casted downward when it's all happening to her. Don't they see how much it's killing her inside?
You could see just how much Fiona wanted to lash out or maybe cry between one of her toilet breaks.
I mean she was just an intern there but she could damn well be their boss for all the work she does for the lot.
Though, that wasn't what broke her that day and made her quit her job for good. Trust me, she could act blind to some injustice happening beside her or to her but, her bottom line was her being the one to do the dirty work.
Yeah, I too don't see the difference there but, whatever can get her to sleep at night it's good enough for me.
She couldn't just look at that senior lady and oversell the products so, she willed her resolve and told the nice lady that the payment is a fraud and that they stole her money. Professionally, of course.
And when the manager heard of that and ran there to salvage the situation which escalated to most of the customers in there in seconds? It was a lost cause.
Not only did the store lose their number one underpaid employee but, also faced a loss on top of a lawsuit claim.
If she could be honest? She wished someone held her back even to slap the hell out of her. But, no one dared to manage even a single glance her way.
You can even feel her heart breaking as she walked home... She'd be okay, right? Our poor Fiona.
Why are you looking at me like that? I can't see the future here! But, let's not dwell on sad clouds when, we have a couple back at home to entertain us.
Oh, hush you undiagnosed pervert, like you are any better!
So, there Nicole was, turning their bedroom into space with stars and moons all over the ceiling.
You see Emma loves the life up there. Why? Ask her that, the next time you see her but now? We have an inside date to prepare.
Sasha loves music and as much as she wishes to just go out and dance her fears away? Like some girl next door? She was content just helping out a friend throwing a party for another there.
"Again… Thank you for doing this" Said Nicole gratefully making Sasha snort, embarrassed, "Like I have anything better to do than this"
"Your comic" Reminded Nicole hiding her grin.
"Oops! I don't think I saved my changes before coming here!" Panicked Sasha before running back to her room just two doors down leaving Nicole, face to face with Yusra who was casually seated on the ground in front of her room door.
"Never fails to crack me up everytime" Said Yusra before returning her attention to her phone.
"Some room key emergency?" Asked Nicole only to earn a glance from the girl. Yeah, so Yusra wasn't a people person. She's definitely trying but, Oof, you know?
Still that didn't dampen the mood because there was the memory of Sasha… the clumsy forgetful housemate.
Nicole loves messing with their forgetful Sasha. How she remembers the plot and characters in that comic of hers, beats her and me too actually.
I guess it's another magic thing that humans have. The ability to compensate their flaws. Beautiful.
Emma returned home quite exhausted and all she ever wished was a quick shower and some sleep! The lecturer was the Devil!
"Hey, there" Greeted Nicole coming up to kiss her girlfriend right there on the door. Forgetting that it was meant to be a secret and that Emma wasn't yet comfortable enough having people know about them yet. Not really my problem here.
But, with each action under the sky there's always some reaction and for them? They had Witnesses.Three to count. Sasha, Yusra and Lily who was all bandaged up at last. She should seriously apply nursing.
Emma was left frozen on the spot and whatever excuse Nicole used for their audience it was clearly not working.
In a way? I get Nicole and her position in this situation because, that's the position most of us play in life where every option leads to some kind of pain.
But, I'm curious on what could happen next to that secret since, they all didn't see Joy coming down from her nest and girl did that sight traumatized her!
Don't tell me I'm the only one enjoying this.
