Return of the forbidden system

Keyos Leray is a Djina - a race ranked lower than livestock in the specie hierarchy, fit only for chains and hard labor. When a trace of magic is discovered in his blood, the government is forced to include him in their military draft, the Card Selection Ceremony.





Keyos receives the Thread Card - officially Unranked, the weakest of all. A joke. But to those who remember ancient history, it's a nightmare that should have been erased.



When the he gets abandoned in a monster-infested dungeon to ensure no Djina ever rises, they make their fatal mistake.



Keyos survives.



Now burning with hatred, he vows to tear down the empire that enslaved his people. He will build a warband from the outcasts and the broken. He will become a warlord and hunt the Pinnacle, the treasure said to grant godlike power.

He will make allies and enemies alike - some who see him as savior, others as a monster worse than the government.
