Chapter 58: Thessaly Fights the Copy of Her Heart

In the chaos, Thessaly found her opponent:

A mirrored version of herself.

This one wore black armor. Her eyes burned red. Her blade dripped with silver.

"You died protecting her," the copy spat. "Why still follow her now?"

Thessaly didn't answer.

She swung.

Steel met steel.

"You think your love is special?" the fake sneered. "She'll outlive you. She'll forget you."

"Then I'll make the moments matter," Thessaly replied.

They fought across a river of fading time. Their swords clashed over pools of lost memory.

And Liss watched, heart cracking.

Not from fear. From grief.

She knew Thessaly wouldn't survive forever. And yet—

She loved her all the same.
