CHAPTER 4: Sweart hearts.

The next morning, she woke up early, fulfilled her promise to God and went to work. She was in the same bus as Lance. They got out at the same bus stop. Lance then came and stood beside her.

". My God. I'm sure you don't remember the way to work , let me lead you there." He said with pure sarcasm. Raven shit him a deadly look.

" I'm actually fine. I have regained my memories."

" Then the loudspeaker...."

" I don't remember. I have got amnesia about it. What do I do?"

* This brainless human.*

" I bet you pay taxes when you think. And that's why you don't. Look , Think, I will help you pay the taxes; but pay the loudspeaker."

" What's that? Lad what? It's the first time I'm hearing the word." She said .

" I'm actually being too good. Don't you think?"

" I don't think. The taxes are too high. I can't afford them."

" This..."

After sometime they reached at work. People were still warming up. The first talked about how the sale was going, all the groups were together. Talked about how the business was going. Lance was a hundred percent not getting anything. Magda entered. Greeted all of them and called Lance in her office. He went. He sighed the contract. No long processes. Too unlikable. When he was from the office, people were now in small groups, others alone and others being a couple. He then spotted Jake and Raven together.

* Of course in front of the male lead, she will act ,oh, innocent. Freak.* He thought crossing his arm on his chest looking at them.

" You jealous?" Lys asked. He was startled.

" Are you ...? Seriously, why would I be jealous?" He said.

Lys sighed.

" I am."

Lance looked at her and faked a smile.

" I don't care." He said and left her there. He sat down. He was still wondering why noone was working. They all looked kind down. They were producing more than they can sell. Raven looked at her group members and called them.

" We , all are going to the street. To sell the products of course. Adam and Eve will go at the Starry steets. That's quite a good place. Especially for couples." Eve and Adam looked at each other and shook their heads with a smile. Raven continued.

"Then Logan and Rene, at Lantern street . Lys and Lance at the Rocky streets . And I.. will stay here." She said the last sentence with a smile.

" I want to go with you." Lys said. Lance gave her an undefined look.

" What?" She asked. Raven smiled at her.

" Yeah. Let's go together." She said.

" Okay, I will go with the guys." He said standing beside Logan and Rene. They looked at each other." Welcome. " They told each other. THE STRONG was to help the selling team until lunch. Others were going to continue with their work. They went. They sold almost all of them. They came back during lunch. After lunch, they took thirty minutes to rest. And Magda entered with a lady. Dark red haired. Raven sighed. There she was. Her so called sister. Still pretty and young. Really ...

" Here, is..." Magda said.

" Lynx. You can call me." She said with a really great smile

Raven frowned.

" She is in the craving team." Magda said and went to her office. Lynx saw Raven and cheerfully waved at her.

* Hypocrite.* Raven thought ignoring her. She then came to her side.

" So, sweet heart, how was you?" She asked her with a smile. All people looked at them.

Raven ignored her. Lynx put her hand around her shoulder.

" Put it off."

" You wanna fight." She whispered with a smile.

Raven felt her brain boiling. " I hate you." She whispered back.

" I like you too, sweet heart.!!" Lynx said aloud and kissed her cheek . Raven wiped her cheek with the back of her hand with disgust. Lynx just winked at her smirking and moved to other groups of people. Lance looked at the two girls.

" Didn't expect that." He then looked at Jake. He seemed too shocked. His face looked funny. Lynx greeted everyone cheerfully. Raven wasn't believing her eye. What was she seeing? This side of Lynx was traumatizing her. Lance saw the fear she had when looking at the girl.He then went to her side.

" Who is she?" He asked. Raven shot her a deadly look and sighed.

" Lynx, she said. Right?" " Let's go to to the forest." She added.

At the moment they reached the number of needed trees were already down. Twenty. And then they saw a stick note on the first tree down.

" A gift just for my sweet heart Raven!" Lys read out aloud. Raven clenched her fist.

" Damnit." She uttered . The trees were all put down by a single strike by Lynx. Raven knew for sure. She said countless curses in her heart.

" So, Amnesia, what are we going to do?"

" Put them in a truck, plant , then move. As simple as sleeping." Raven replied. Lance was quite suprised she didn't make a fuss on being called Amnesia.

" By the way, Lance, don't I look familiar to you." She asked as they started moving, outting the trees in the truck. Others were attentively listening to their conversation.

" Yeah."

" Where?"

" My sister have a dog which look almost like you."

Raven scoffed annoyed. Others laughed.

" You know our problem isn't solved yet. And I want it solved tonight." Lance said calmly.

" Why at night?" Lys murmured to herself. Others heard her.

" What happened the other night happened. I really don't regret anything. I can do it a thousand and thousands of times."

They stopped carrying the trees. Other members stood on a line looking at them with amazement.

" Owkay, I almost died because of that."

" I'm not the one who told you to be weak!"

" You are ... A disaster."

" If you're too bothered tell the cops. I broke into your apartment and I'm a thousand percent proud."

" Do.."

" Well, Guys, let's continue with the work. We got things to do." Adam told them and they resumed to work. No one was talking.

" Have any of you heard of the magic onyx?" Lys asked.

" You believe in those kind of things?" Lance asked her. Raven stared at him.

" I just eavesdropped some people saying it."

" They probably read it in a tale." Eve said laughing. They laughed at her.

" Nothing is actually funny." Lys said.

" By the way,Raven, that girl Lynx, is she your...." Rene felt quite embarrassed because of Raven's look.

" Just a person I know." She said. After they had finished, they went back. At seeing Raven, Lynx came running towards her , showing her a raven craved by her. She was to skilled.

" Is it pretty? Sweet heart." She asked with a cute face. Raven shouted inside, cursed and mentally fainted.

This side of Lynx was totally different from the one she knew.
