CHAPTER 5: The stranger

The moment Raven turned on the light, she freaked out. Lynx was sitting there.

" Sup, sweet heart." She said. Raven rolled her eye.

" Actually, Lynx, I really don't like you and I think you're aware so, please, give me peace."

" You know that would bother me sweet heart."

Raven sighed. She wasn't going to fight. Except if of course she desired to be turned into a roasted chicken. She then went to her room. Wore her costume and took her spear. She got out .

" Cool." Lynx said with a nod. She then went to her side.

" Where are you going?" Lynx asked her. She didn't replie. Lynx suddenly touched her shoulder. They disappeared. Now they were at a night club. Loud music, so...

Raven truly didn't like these kind of places. But that was where she already was going to go.

" How did..."

" Your eye say anything."

* This wild cat!* Lynx had her arm around her shoulder. She holded the spear tightly to her chest. She didn't expect to win any hudow with this person on her side. She stole her a glance. As she expected, she wore her wicked smirk. Raven compared that wicked smirk with the one she was seeing in the day

And shook her head. Truly unmatchable.

She started to laugh. Lynx looked at her confused. Raven stopped to laugh and sighed. She detected the hudow.

" Can you do me a favor?" She asked politely even though she expected nothing from the person she was asking.

" Anything sweet heart." Lynx said in a flirting tone.

* I'm not a guy!!*

The alert alarm sounded, people run outside. The hudow also tried to get out but was stopped. And then the fighting began. Of course, Lynx was just sitting, drinking watching Raven getting her ass beaten. She was about to interfere in the fight when suddenly... The place was quite, the hudow vanished with a lot of screams of pain. Raven was still panting, trying to return to her normal breathing rate. She took a deep breath. Stood in position, tightening her grip to the spear. Lynx stood there looking at the person entering. Male, tall, good physical appearance. Wearing cool outfit, a mask and,; SUNGLASSES??! It was night !

" What are those for?" Raven asked. Lynx pulled Raven behind her. She was totally confused. Her look seemed to ask: Are you my mother ?

Lynx then attack. The guy didn't even dodge her attacks. They were no harm to him. He was moving slowly towards Raven. Lynx quickly moved to her, so that they could quickly just, DISAPPEARE from there. She found herself alone in the apartment when she reached. Plus tied by an invisible string. She just felt it on her. She wasn't even using her powers. Damn that guy. May he be turned into popcorns.

Raven looked at the guy. She felt familiar with this powers.

" So, you decided to show who you really are."

The person said nothing. Raven decided to fight. Wasting her energy of course.

" Slow." The guy said dodging her attacks.

" Afraid."

"You train up in thoughts. I guess." He said calmly, with a serious face yet his words were stupid.She was finally tired. The person took her in his arms. She was shocked.

" Put me down." She said gritting her teeth. The guy let go of her and she fell almost turning her backbone into a chewing gum. She glared at him. He just shrugged. He didn't even offer her his hand so that she can stand up.

" What do you want?" She asked standing up.

" You."

She stepped backward, and almost fell. The guy captured her by waist.

"..." She closed her eye, taking a deep breath.

* I really don't like this.*

" Let's meet again." He whispered in her ear.

At the moment, she opened her eye , she was in her apartment. Lynx was suddenly free.

" What happened?" Lynx asked looking worried.

" Worried about me?" She asked with a fake smile.sarcastically.

" No, about me."

Raven was just too deep in thoughts. She ignored her and went to sleep. She dreamt of her fight with Lance, from the past five years.

In the morning, she woke up earlier to go to work before Lynx could wake up. A strategy to avoid her morning being ruined. She went in the bathroom , dressed. The moment she was from her room, she found Lynx already sitting up in the living room.

" You really are slow. Let's go to work."

* I want to be a butterfly!!!!! Butterflies are visible. I want to be invisible.*

She got out before her running. When Lynx got out, Aidan saw her and mistaken her for the person who ruined his loudspeaker.

He stopped her.

" Ha! There you are, crazy human. " Aidan said looking at her from toe to head.

" Your attractiveness doesn't match with your small brain."

" What??" Lynx was confused. Was that a compliment or an insult.

" I heard you're crazy. I'm really sorry about that. But right now , you pay for my ruined loudspeaker. I loved it and it loved me. You should be ashamed of ruining that relationship."

" Ha. Ha. Ha. Really. Funny. Look guy, cause I don't know your name..."

" Aidan."

" You got a wrong person."

" You live there." Showing her the apartment.

" I live not alone." She smiled. " I will tell her about it." She said to move from the place.

Raven saw Lance at the bus stop. He was silent. It was totally possible to mistaken him for a calm serious person.

She approached.

" Hi." She greeted calmly. Lance looked at her.

" Hi."

" Who are you?" She asked calmly. Lance looked at her confused.

" Lance." He answered with a smile. Raven quickly angrily took him by collar.

" WHO ARE YOU??!" She asked aloud. People looked at them. She realized it and laughed awkwardly neating his collar.

" Did you take alcohol for breakfast?" Lance asked her. She just sighed.

" I swear, you, . Where is the Onyx?"

" What is that? Don't tell me you're saying the magic onyx was talking about."

" Rascal."

Lance checked his watch. He was felling quite weird.

"About the loudspeaker,.. Aidan said he's gonna take care of it. And , you will pay. You can't just run away with his things. He will burn your things."

Before she could say anything she heard her name called. She turned. It was Aidan, walking with Lynx.

" Yeah. That's her. " Lynx said with a smile.

" Time for your destruction!" Aidan said with a dramatic spirit.Walking towards her. The bus suddenly arrived. She then changed her gaze and as calm as the fish is ,when being eaten. She entered the bus.

"...."

Lance laughed a little.Lynx entered the bus after taping Aidan's shoulder.

" She ignored me." Aidan said looking at Lance. Lance nodded. They entered the bus together.

" I will find a glue to put your heart pieces together." Lance told these comforting words to his precious friend Aidan. Aidan clicked his toungue in annoyance.

" Why were you born?" He asked

" To see you suffer." Was the reply
