Chapter 7

After her outburst, Isabella ran out without looking back.

Hearing her words, the family elders present were deeply moved and filled with self-reproach.

“Isabella's right. In the eight years since Stella married into our Romano family, her treatment of us has been truly impeccable.”

Vincent's father said this as he turned his head to look at him.

“Son, haven't you gone a bit too far?”

“Even if Stella didn't have a child, you shouldn't have treated her like this. At the end of the day, she is your wife.”

Vincent's heart was in turmoil.

“Stop talking.”

He raised a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose. “Let me be alone for a moment.”

With heavy steps, he brushed past Luna, who was waiting at the door.

Luna had never felt such a wave of panic.

She even had an intuition.

That after Stella disappeared, Vincent would soon come to regret it.

She had never thought to compete with me before, but now the child was born, and she had left for good.
