Acadia
It's been a day, while he restocks his disguises, he was focusing on drawing on his notebook. While the teacher was speaking at the front while demonstrating magic and their capabilities.
Despite his focus on his notebook, he is still paying attention to the lesson. After 5 years in this world, he already understood how this world's magic, what makes it vastly different is how they operate.
The best explanation would be using a different formula, but the outcome with those formulas would have the same answer without any faults.
But what's more interesting is how Magic in this world operates in a balanced manner, where it has multiple branches, while from his world there is only a single branch.
The only difference is what they would follow from the above, while in this world they are more free to choose which is much better in their eyes.
He stopped drawing for a second, and with his disguise he was still safe. He always takes a slight break from time to time when inside the class. He wanted to take Alchemy, but that would make his desire to go through the roof and expose his disguise.
Despite the lesson, he was still bored so he switched to something more practical. This time he was drawing a Magic circle, and each magic circle is different from each other.
The magic circle symbolizes an element, fire, wind, water, and earth. He drew the most 4 common elements that he used.
"What are you drawing?" Said by a handsome man beside him, his name was Charles Orleans, a long blue hair ponytail, and smooth skin with a perfect round brown eyes. He was quite handsome compared to his disguise. Charles was quite shy, and reserved. He acts more feminine like in his world.
Despite the whole gender roles being reversed, he still can't help but still feel the shivered down in his body.
"If you get caught, you might get into trouble." Said Charles in a soft voice.
( ꈍᴗꈍ) "Don't worry, I won't get caught." He acted cutely, which just made him cringe.
'I'm never going to do that again!' Arliette shouted in his mind.
"Wow, you're very confident, I envy you." Charles stated.
"How so? I'm merely expressing my own boredom."
"I mean, you have good grades without even listening, and not only that you are creating magic circles with ease while drawing them, like how do you even draw a perfect circle?"
"Oh… just use your imagination I guess?"
"Right, I forgot my name is Charles this is our first time speaking together right?"
"I'm Arliette, Now that you mention it, yeah I don't speak much unless they start the conversation first." Arliette spoke true to his words.
"Now that you mention it, you didn't talk to anyone but somehow you manage to avoid them, but don't worry we could be friends if you want to." Charles said innocently.
Despite the class only having 5 male students while the rest are females, the ratio was indeed quite big.
"Sure…" ( ̄ヘ ̄;) Arliette could feel some eyes into them.
'Right, I forgot how this class always tries to woo the 4 male students, and I'm the only one who didn't get a hit on. Which means, I am a genius!' (☞^o^) ☞
Feeling proud of his disguise, he couldn't help but celebrate in his mind.
"Oh yeah, what do you even do after class? You always disappear on lunch and even on break." Charles actually pays attention to the class, most often seen Arliette always avoiding the people.
"Invasion of my privacy?"
"Uh I'm sorry! I just don't know how to start a conversation…" He fiddles his index fingers together.
"You're quite honest, but I will tell you it's just nothing grand or anything, I'm just walking around the school." Arliette said, which is a half lie, and half truth.
Then an explosion occurred outside, it was a magic training, a mock battle between students. He felt the mana, it was Catherine.
Catherine was fighting another student, and it was Amiya. Both were having a mock battle with each other.
'I can feel the mana being wasted into the air, I don't know much about their fighting style but guessing with the mana in the air. Yeah I can tell they aren't masters yet, or haven't grasped how to utilize magic in a refined way.'
"To think the S-Classes are way too strong, look how they cast their magic and firepower." Charles commented, while amazed by how they fought.
"They are indeed strong, however they use too much mana and are wasted into the air instead."
"Eh?" Charles looks at Arliette when he says those.
"How can you tell? You're not even watching!" He pouted.
"Here's the thing Charles, if you want to learn magic, learn how to refine and utilize magic first before going into more firepower that just uses too much mana." He gave him solid advice.
Which Charles perks up when he said it, since Charles knew Arliette was indeed a powerful magician since he took down a teacher who is a Magic knight.
"Wait, can you even tell?"
"Of course, you wanna know who will win?"
"Who?"
"The Princess will win, because the other one will deplete her Mana before the Princess, she will struggle to move and at any moment she's gonna receive some minor migraine." He smiled, as he pushed back his glasses.
Charles with some doubts, but accepting his advice. He watched the fight, and saw Catherine slowly lose strength and she grabbed her head in pain, the migraine took over and her Mana was depleted and Amiya striking the final blow, and winning the fight.
"You're right!? How did you know?"
"Alright class! You may be dismissed!" Said by the teacher.
┐( ̄ヘ ̄)┌ "I just guess." Arliette said, teasing Charles.
"Hey! I almost believe you! How could you trick me like that!" He pouted like a hamster.
"Hey don't be so gullible next time Charles, you might get dragged by some random woman if you go outside if you're like that." He said, while leaving him behind.
Charles shivered. "Hey wait for me!" Charles ran to catch up to Arliette.
'Did he really just guess?' Charles pondered.
While Arliette was just having fun, making fun of Charles due to him being credulous.
…
'Perhaps this is Karma?' He pondered, while eating in the cafeteria, with Charles and beside Charles was Amiya.
"Ah I forgot to mention! Amiya is my friend." Charles said.
'Oh, mein Gott…' (ಠ_ಠ)>⌐■-■
"You're Arliette right? Nice to meet you." Amiya said with a calm tone.
'There is no God! Only karma!' (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ
Amiya smiled.
