There are different categories of Power. Some are rarer than others. The most well-known and recognized are:
Birthright.
Martial Wonder.
***
Birthright is akin to Bloodline Ability that a descendant awakens because their ancestors possessed it.
Unlike traditional bloodlines, even the servants or true followers who served, befriended, or worked with a person possessing Birthright might develop or birth a child with the same ability.
The Sundown Imperial Family has numerous servants who possess Psychic Power. The only difference is that it manifests as a weaker version.
After the rise of the empire, anyone who supported and functioned to maintain it had a chance of having a child with the Sundown Birthright.
Birthright is divided into Psychic and Somatic. One encompasses Mental Ability and the other Physical Ability.
The Sundown Family were known for their Psionic Power, an advanced form of Psychic which grants them intuitive understanding of their Psychic Power and how to use it.
But they also have Somatic Power, a constitution that allows them to master their ancestral Martial Wonder.
Seth's new Eye Ability is just an extension of his Psionic Power, molded to become unique to him and him alone.
In the whole world, no one will have something exactly the same. Well, that is what the Imperial Wisdom maintains.
Seth climbed out of bed, throwing sleep away. He needed to test his Eye Power.
His steps were unhurried. He made sure of that because he didn't want any of his servants suspecting something about him.
He came to his underground passage and walked in, going down until he reached a chamber filled with bookshelves, tools and objects arranged on their stands.
Seth's eyes flared. They didn't glow, but he felt a sting and the room was painted with different colors.
Some were dull, some were dark, some were colorful, but only one was blazing with light.
As a Psion, Seth's brain processed what he saw at high speed before the eyes turned off.
A tear, not from emotional reasons but from stress, flowed from his eyes.
The room now was dimmer than before before his eyes readjusted again.
"Time Immemorial Memoir!" Seth muttered to himself.
That was his Psion Eye Power.
It pulled out information about old, forgotten objects, events, and places.
Seth was smiling as he went to the object that blazed with bright light. That showed its oldness and that it had history behind it.
Seth stared at it: a piece of metal attached to an old sword handle. It was a decorative piece that had no function apart from looking cool.
Seth reached to touch it but he stopped.
He was Tier 1, and his Psion Hand was now 30 cm thick. That was a testament to the quality Psion Force he could command, but all that had been exhausted in mere seconds of Eye Power.
"The efficiency is very low because this is my first time!"
Seth followed his intuition and didn't touch it. He went to the Dark Tools. They were his books, the ones he wrote things on from school.
He extended to touch them too, but his intuition told him not to. He sighed and stepped back.
Before he walked back to the stairs.
"I didn't just see the color from them, but rather affected them too," Seth thought. "They are ready to tell me their Memoirs!"
Seth was not sure, so he turned and walked back to his room. He dropped on the bed and closed his eyes.
He needed sleep to sort out his thoughts.l with a smile tugged at his lips that refused to go even as he was fast asleep.
The Empire is old and it values history, most of which has been forgotten in the annals of time.
All ready for him to uncover.
Seth was already having a plan. He already saw himself on the Throne as the Emperor.
His smile broadened. As the Emperor, he would get to decide how the wind blows.
His authority unbreakable.
But the best thing about it was going beyond Tier 6.
Reaching beyond the confines of human understanding.
Most believed they ascended.
That's why the moment the Emperor stepped down and a new one ascended, the former Emperor would vanish from people.
He would no longer interfere.
Most vanished with no trace, some reached out. Some even came. But at that moment, except when the whole continent was at imminent annihilation, they would never step back.
That's why it was dangerous to crown a new emperor.
A new emperor must be strong, command respect, and have the backing of powerful people.
And maintain the status quo until their personal power becomes unquestionable and undeniable.
Emperor Sundown had reached a moment where he alone could take on everyone from within the Empire, the Kingdoms, and even beyond.
His Psionic Power could envelope the whole Continent and do whatever he wanted.
At that stage, everyone bowed. The man was a titan among ants.
Seth's dream of becoming Emperor out of his desire didn't last long as he frowned in sleep.

Somatic Powers are abilities related to the body. Super strength, super healing, invulnerability, etc. But it was more nuanced than that.
There are Branches under both Somatic and Psychic, and the first thing after awakening one will seek what Branch they were to understand how one falls into the Tier System for gradual progression.
Not knowing your Branch will stagnate you.
Martial Wonder is for everyone. Basically making systematic movements that make sense both with alignment of body, mind, heart, and the world will drive wonder to happen.
For example, a tree cutter. He swings the axe with mental focus, body coordination, and heart every time with a desire to become better at cutting trees will lead to mastery, and if maintained, a wonder will happen.
Basically, with a slight swing even with a dull axe or even fist will make the tree cut.
It's like reality accepts your dedication and elevates you to cut with more efficiency.
But it takes time. Sundown Ancestral Martial Wonder took five generations before it showed wonder, and ever since it has been improving.
Which also influenced the descendants to have Somatic Birthright before even Psychic Birthright.

Seth snapped awake, sweating but his eyes still seeing his dream. He ran to his bathroom and jumped into the cold pool and his body jolted and pulled his mind back to his body.
"By the rusty throne, I can't sleep to recover!" Seth said in desperation. His sleep had worsened his condition.
('By the rusty throne' was akin to saying 'Damn'.)
Seth didn't recover any Psion Energy due to sleep.
He came out, changed, and went to his parlour. He sat and began reading. Immediately his brain cooled down and a trickle of Psion Energy began building.
"I see. Sleep won't rest my brain!" Seth made note of that with a smile.
"I'm very interested in discovering my Eye." The Ninth Prince was still satisfied.
After four hours, streaks of light came from the window. Seth's body reacted, a soothing warmth spread through his body, and fatigue settled on his body.
His eyes became droopy while his Psion Energy was full.
"I see."
He realized important information about his eyes. Activation and Deactivation consumed Psion Energy, and when he was exhausted he couldn't deactivate the eyes, which made him have complex dreams.
"Interesting!" Seth's smile widened. "This is quite a deep Power!" he mused.
Seth's dream was chaotic, filled with bright light, moving silhouettes within, and voices.
He assumed it was what he saw in his underground chamber but now with a clear mind he realised it was not the case.
Seth smiled widely, the book he was reading slowly dropped to the side.
He now turned off his eye ability and went through the dream. He remembered it vividly.
"I was born with my Unique Psion Power!"
What Seth dreamed about was every Time Immemorial Memoir he ever got from the places he had been.
Any ruin he ever visited, any object, tools, and all things that their history was lost came to him.
He basically recalled them in his dream.
Seth had been to five ruins, each one of them blazing with light. Their history echoing in his mind. Glimpses of past events coming to him from them.
But the one that was the brightest of them all was an old crown that the Emperor kept in his chamber.
Rumors have it, the crown was worn by the very first Emperor. Some say it was even older.
Seth's dream couldn't glimpse anything from it because it was too bright.
He stood and walked to his room. He fell asleep immediately. This time there was no dream. His eyes were deactivated.

Two days later, Seth woke up refreshed, a woman sitting on the chair beside his bed.
"May the throne blaze through you!" she muttered with a smile.
Seth turned and pulled more bedsheets to sleep more. But he was well rested. His eyes refused to fall asleep.
"Congratulations on your awakening!" she said again playfully.
"Hmm. How is it?" he asked casually.
"I succeeded. I am officially Tier 4," she said, "and I came with a perfect plan on how to start our race towards the throne!"
Seth pulsed with power as he moved toward her. "Tell me," he eagerly asked.
"Haha. Calm down, Ninth Prince. You need to clean, eat, and then we discuss the plan."
She said as she grabbed his cheek playfully, "I assure you, we will catch up to them!"
"Yes. Great!" he said, "Haha."
He sauntered to the bathroom.
"Do you need help!" she asked.
"Nope," he said.
The woman, the Ninth Prince's Chamberlain, was 25 years old and had basically raised him from birth.
