It had been four days since Rias and her peerage arrived at Yasaka's estate.
Diplomacy had gone smoothly. Too smoothly. Beneath the surface of polite greetings, traditional meals, and quiet walks through temple gardens, there was another kind of tension.
Kaelthar could feel it, even if he didn't comment on it.
Rias had been watching him—curious, intrigued, often flushed and distracted. Akeno wasn't as reserved. Her teasing smiles came more often. Her compliments lingered. And more than once, Kaelthar had found her closer than expected, her eyes openly drinking in his form.
They weren't subtle. Not anymore.
Yasaka, of course, noticed everything. And being the mischief-loving kitsune that she was, she decided to stir the pot.
That evening, the household was quiet. Akeno had slipped away to the private bath, a beautiful traditional onsen tucked behind the main hall. Rias remained in the guest quarters, nursing a cup of green tea and trying to cool her thoughts.
Kaelthar, towel around his waist, walked calmly down the wooden corridor, his shirt slung over his shoulder. He intended only to clean off the dust from training.
He slid open the bathhouse door.
Inside, Akeno stood waist-deep in the steaming water, head tilted back, long black hair slick against her shoulders.
She turned slowly, eyes locking with his. She made no effort to hide herself.
Kaelthar blinked. "Oh."
Her lips curved. "Not turning around?"
"I didn't know you were in here."
"I don't mind." She stepped out of the water, steam rising off her skin. "In fact… stay."
He stood still, eyes calmly watching her. She closed the distance between them, droplets trailing down her thighs as she placed a hand gently on his chest.
"You've been so quiet," she whispered. "But I see the way you look at me."
"I thought I was being respectful," he answered.
Akeno leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to his collarbone. "Sometimes we don't want respect."
Just then, footsteps echoed. Rias peeked through the door, having heard voices from the corridor.
She saw Akeno, wet and radiant, naked in front of Kaelthar. Her eyes widened. "A-Akeno!?"
Akeno turned slightly, smile unshaken. "Rias."
"I—I didn't mean to walk in on—" She tried to close the door.
But Kaelthar spoke. "You can stay."
Rias stopped.
Her face flushed crimson, but she didn't run. Something primal inside her flared—the devil blood. The heat. The need. She'd been trying to ignore it for days, but now, standing there, watching them… she couldn't.
From behind her, Yasaka's voice echoed down the hall like a devil on her shoulder: "Don't think. Just feel."
An hour later, the room was dim. Warm. Kaelthar's guest quarters felt different now.
The futon was messily laid out. Pillows askew. Candles flickered along the edges of the room.
Kaelthar sat upright, legs stretched out, towel gone, body bare under the sheet that barely covered his hips. Akeno sat curled in his lap, trailing her fingers along his chest with a pleased hum. Rias sat beside them, still flushed, wrapped in one of Yasaka's robes, her hair damp from a nervous shower she took minutes before.
"You're really okay with this?" Rias asked quietly.
Kaelthar turned to her. "I'm not mortal. My understanding of relationships isn't limited to pairs. I care about connections… however they form."
Akeno chuckled. "That's his way of saying yes."
She slid off his lap and pulled Rias closer.
"Let's not overthink it."
Rias trembled slightly as Kaelthar leaned toward her, one hand resting on her waist. His fingers brushed the belt of her robe. She didn't stop him.
His lips found her neck, kissing softly, slowly, just above her collarbone. Rias exhaled, eyes fluttering closed.
Akeno kissed her shoulder from behind. "You're beautiful, Rias."
Rias let the robe slide from her shoulders.
They made no more excuses.
Clothes vanished. Hands explored. Lips kissed. Tongues tasted. Bodies pressed together in soft gasps and breathless laughter.
Kaelthar took his time—curious, attentive. His touch burned in the best way. Akeno moaned into his mouth as his hand trailed down her stomach, fingers firm and practiced. Rias arched her back as he kissed lower, her fingers tangling in his hair.
The room filled with the sounds of pleasure—rising, falling, rising again.
Kaelthar's hands roamed over Akeno's body, his fingers teasing and exploring every curve. She gasped as he found her most sensitive spots, her breath hitching with each touch. Rias, watching them, felt a surge of desire, her own body aching for attention. She reached out, her hand meeting Kaelthar's as he moved to caress her, their fingers intertwining in a dance of pleasure.
Akeno, feeling Rias's touch, turned to her, their lips meeting in a passionate kiss. Kaelthar watched, his eyes dark with desire, as the two women explored each other, their bodies entwined. He moved closer, his hands joining theirs, tracing lines of fire over their skin.
Akeno's eyes widened as she felt the length of him against her thigh. "Kaelthar, you're… you're huge," she gasped, her voice a mix of surprise and anticipation.
Rias, hearing this, looked down and her eyes went wide. "Oh my…" she whispered, her cheeks flushing a deeper red. "I don't know if that's going to fit."
Kaelthar chuckled, a low, rumbling sound. "Don't worry, I'll go slow."
Akeno bit her lip, a shiver of excitement running through her. "Ah, ah, ah…" she moaned as Kaelthar's fingers found her wetness, teasing her entrance.
Rias, unable to resist, reached out to touch him, her fingers wrapping around his length. "Ah, ah, ah…" she echoed Akeno's moans, her own body responding to the sight and feel of him.
Kaelthar guided Akeno down onto the futon, positioning himself between her legs. He entered her slowly, inch by inch, allowing her to adjust to his size. Akeno's back arched, her nails digging into his shoulders. "Ah, ah, ah…" she cried out, her voice filled with pleasure and a hint of pain.
Rias watched, her breath coming in quick gasps, as Kaelthar began to move, his hips thrusting in a steady rhythm. She reached out, her hands roaming over Akeno's body, joining in the dance of pleasure.
The night was filled with whispers of pleasure, the sounds of their bodies moving together, and the soft glow of candlelight casting shadows on the walls. They lost themselves in each other, their desires and needs merging into one, a symphony of sensation that left them breathless and sated.
By the time they collapsed into the sheets, the candles were almost burnt down, and the room was filled with the scent of their lovemaking. Exhausted and content, they lay together, their bodies entwined, as sleep claimed them one by one.
Morning.
Rias woke first. She blinked slowly, realizing her head rested on Kaelthar's chest. His arm was around her waist. On his other side, Akeno slept peacefully, one leg thrown over both of them.
For a while, Rias said nothing.
Then: "I can't believe we did that."
Kaelthar stirred. "You regret it?"
"…No," she whispered.
Akeno stretched, yawning. "Don't pretend you didn't love every second of it."
Kaelthar kissed her forehead. "You were both… different. But good."
"You sound like you're reviewing a meal," Akeno laughed.
Rias sat up and pulled the sheets over her chest, even though both had seen everything. "Is this going to be a thing now? A relationship?"
Akeno leaned up, glancing at Kaelthar. "He's not normal. We shouldn't try to make this fit a human mold."
"Yasaka said we could build a harem," Rias murmured.
Kaelthar blinked. "Why do I keep hearing that word?"
Akeno giggled. "Because you're too much man for one woman."
Rias covered her face.
Later that day, Kaelthar opened the gateway again.
The dimension he had created had expanded. At Yasaka's suggestion, he shaped a sanctuary meant for them—a realm between realms, beautiful and safe.
He added floating gardens, a warm spring under a starlit tree, and a small palace shaped like a blend of Kyoto elegance and divine architecture.
Rias and Akeno stood in awe as they stepped into it.
"This feels like a dream," Rias whispered.
"It's real," Kaelthar said, "and it's yours too."
Akeno leaned into him, arms around his waist. "You're going to spoil us."
Rias blushed. "I still don't understand why you made this."
Kaelthar looked at the stars above them. "Because I'm tired of wandering. I want something worth protecting."
At the edge of the dimension, Yasaka stood with a knowing smile, watching them.
"Just the beginning," she whispered. "He's barely started."
Far beyond that realm, the multiverse stirred again.
Something old moved in the dark.
And Kaelthar would be ready—with power, with love, and with allies who now slept at his side.
