Episode 2 — "Echoes in the Fire"

---

Scene: Dock 41 – Midnight

The docks of Navgarh creaked under the weight of sin. Cargo containers stacked like tombs. Rats danced between tire tracks. Above them all, a ship waited—"The Black Dawn," holding stolen souls.

A convoy of black SUVs rolled in. Ten men exited, armed and cruel. At their center walked a tall figure with a jagged scar across his cheek.

Rana Bhil, the trafficker from File #8.

He barked into a satellite phone, "Shipment confirmed. Eight kids. Our buyer lands in two hours. No mistakes tonight."

Behind the cargo, a shadow shifted—silent, watching.

Surya crouched atop Container 14, heartbeat slow, mind sharper than steel. His mask reflected the moonlight, barely visible through mist and thunderclouds.

---

Flashback — Training Hall, Himalayas

Young Surya stood blindfolded as Master Haranath whispered:

"Sometimes you fight what you see. Sometimes, what hides in silence will kill faster. Control the space. Own the breath."

Surya inhaled deeply, eyes closed beneath the mask.

---

Back to Dock 41

Three guards walked toward a locked container where crying echoed. Surya launched forward—barefooted, blade-less, yet lethal.

The first guard never saw the strike—his elbow shattered. The second screamed before falling face-first into a pool of herbal mist that paralyzed his limbs.

Surya dropped a smoke vial and vanished.

Panic rippled through the convoy. "He's here!" someone yelled. "The Fire Mask! He's real!"

Rana Bhil narrowed his eyes. "Let him come. We have surprises too."

Behind him, from the shadows of the ship's loading ramp, emerged a figure wrapped in red robes—Dr. Kaalkrit, a former disciple of Haranath, presumed dead for years.

But he wasn't just alive. He had weaponized anatomy.

Introducing the Nemesis: Dr. Kaalkrit

- Background: Once a fellow student alongside Surya, Kaalkrit diverged—believing medicine should control life, not preserve it. He created chemical enhancers and taught pain as a weapon.

- Appearance: Red robe laced with wires. A surgical mask stitched with runes. His fingers glowed faintly.

- Skills:

 - Nerve Manipulation — attacks using amplified vibration.

 - Toxic Pulse Strikes — delivers shock through pressure points.

 - Pain Harvesting — extracts sensory data to predict enemy reactions.

He stepped forward and murmured, "So… the prodigal healer still plays the vigilante? Shall we test your oath?"

---

Clash of Masters

Surya landed silently behind a truck, then walked toward the ship ramp.

Kaalkrit smiled beneath his mask. "The serum they injected those kids with—unstable. You've got 45 minutes before their organs collapse. Save them... or fight me."

Surya didn't speak. He rotated his shoulder once—his signature pre-strike motion—and leapt.

The fight blurred into choreographed madness:

- Surya's spinning knee barely dodged Kaalkrit's vibrating palm.

- Kaalkrit's elbow connected with Surya's ribs—Surya winced but flipped mid-air, landing beside a rusted pipe.

- Surya used a herbal syringe—green mist flooded the air, slowing nerve transmission.

Kaalkrit countered with sonic snaps from his gloved fingers. A shockwave echoed through Dock 41.

Cutaway – Kids in the Container

Inside, a 10-year-old girl faintly stirred. Her skin glowed with unnatural veins. One boy pressed a bronze lotus coin to her forehead. "He'll come," he whispered. "He always does."

Suddenly, a blade sliced the container lock.

Surya stepped in, bruised but burning with focus.

---

Scene: Makeshift Lab in the Ship

Surya dragged the kids inside the ship's medical cabin—converted into a trafficking lab.

He examined each child's pupils, checked vitals, injected an emergency antidote brewed from Himalayan fungus and synthetic compounds—only he knew the formula.

The kids stabilized.

Behind him, footsteps echoed.

Kaalkrit again.

"You used the Forbidden Strain," Kaalkrit said in disbelief. "That can't be replicated."

Surya turned slowly. "You were a student once. You chose torture. I chose balance."

Kaalkrit lunged—Surya blocked with a reinforced clipboard. A kick. A counter. Glass shattered. Oxygen tanks hissed.

Surya pushed Kaalkrit into a metal shelf. Sparks flew.

---

Climax – Fire vs. Frost

Surya ripped his glove off, revealing a palm etched with surgical ink. He tapped his forearm and activated a neural booster—only safe to use once a month.

His reflexes tripled.

He moved like liquid flame—every move born from muscle memory and healing precision. Kaalkrit couldn't match the speed.

A final strike to Kaalkrit's thoracic cavity disabled his movement. He collapsed.

"You should've stayed buried," Surya said.

As police sirens approached, Surya scattered lotus coins throughout the ship. Each led to a child. Each told a story.

Then—he disappeared.

---

Morning – Hospital Corridor

Dr. Verma walked in, freshly shaved, dressed in white.

Nurse Alia greeted him. "Sir, quite the buzz in Sector 9 this morning. Ship raided, kids rescued. Heard the vigilante saved them again."

Surya smiled faintly. "Heroes leave marks. Doctors heal them."

---

Closing Scene – Temple Ruins

The monks gathered again.

"Kaalkrit has fallen," one said.

Another responded, "But something worse awakens in the Northern cells. Tell the Fire Mask... his flame will be tested by frost."

The lotus symbol cracked in half.
