Episode 3 – "The Pulse of Silence"

---

Scene: Temple Ruins – Before Sunrise

Thunder grumbled as wind tore through the stone remains of a forgotten shrine. The monks' silhouettes flickered as they gathered near a split lotus symbol carved in obsidian.

"The Frost Doctrine awakens," one whispered.

Another answered, "They've planted shadows inside Navgarh. Even the Flame Mask won't see them coming."

A third monk knelt, placing a lotus shard into a scroll case. "Send word. Surya must know. The Cold Pulse lives again."

---

Scene: Navgarh Civil Hospital – Morning Shift

The hospital buzzed as normal—paperwork shuffled, monitors beeped, patients groaned.

Dr. Surya Verma stood in Ward 7, checking a comatose teenager's pulse. She'd been part of the rescued group from Dock 41.

Strangely, her vitals dropped every hour between 2AM–3AM. No medical logic explained it.

Surya furrowed his brow. He injected a tracer compound of his own design—a blend of neurological markers and heat-sensitive herbs—and placed a digital lotus patch on her forehead. "Let's see what silence tells me," he murmured.

From behind him, Nurse Alia peeked in. "Sir, there's an emergency in Ward 12. Patient coded red—but… he wasn't even on the roster."

Surya turned. "Show me."

---

Ward 12 – The Mystery Patient

A man lay unconscious on a bed—eyes fluttering as if fighting something within. No ID. No tags. His blood pressure fluctuated wildly. Skin cold. Iris shimmered faint blue. In his palm was clutched a familiar symbol…

Surya's heart stopped for a beat.

It was half of a Frozen Lotus—the opposite of his fire sigil.

He whispered, "Impossible."

---

Flashback – Training Archives, Himalayas

Master Haranath once locked Surya inside the Hall of Prophecies—etched with stories of ancient guardians of balance: Aag Ka Saya and Thand Ka Shabd—The Fire and The Frost.

"These two never meet in peace," Master had warned. "If one rises, the other wakes."

Surya had thought it myth.

Now the frost had eyes.

---

Scene: The Basement Chamber (Surya's Secret Lair)

Surya poured over blood samples from the mystery patient. His cells weren't just damaged—they were restructured. Brain tissue showed foreign proteins resembling ancient cold-adapted enzymes from Himalayan ice fungi.

Encrypted CCTV footage showed the man staggering into Ward 12 just after 3AM—when the comatose girl's vitals dipped. No one noticed.

Surya reviewed her neural activity during that hour.

A pattern emerged—an ancient Sanskrit symbol, hidden in the pulse frequencies.

It read: Pralayam—Annihilation.

---

Scene: Hospital Corridor – Evening

Nurse Alia walked toward Surya's office carrying test results. Suddenly, the corridor lights flickered. Cold wind brushed her cheek—indoors.

A figure in white scrubs appeared from the shadows. Face pale. Eyes glowing faint frost.

He whispered, "Where is the Fire Doctor?"

Alia froze.

But before the figure stepped forward, a flying disk clashed against the wall beside him—cracking it.

Surya stood down the hallway, gloves on, stance low.

"Leave my staff out of this," he said.

The figure hissed, vanishing into mist.

---

Scene: Rooftop – Midnight

Surya stood under the stars, lotus coin glowing in one hand. A voice echoed inside his mind—memories from Master Haranath.

> "If you battle frost, don't fight its chill. Burn so bright it cannot stand beside you."

Surya closed his eyes and whispered, "The frost is here. That means they've found Shunyam."

Shunyam—an ancient pressure point so potent, it could stop hearts with a whisper or awaken latent DNA to reshape a body. Only those trained in the deepest martial arts could survive contact.

And someone was unlocking it from inside Navgarh's hospital network.

---

Scene: Underground Lab – The Hidden Terminal

Surya used encrypted codes to access a sealed terminal within the hospital basement. Files flickered open—one labeled "Operation Shunyam: Cold Pulse Beta Trials."

Attached: Chemical blueprints, patient maps—marked with lotus fragments.

Surya whispered, "They're using patients to test Shunyam activation… and hiding inside my own hospital."

Just then, red alerts flashed on screen. A breach in the morgue vault.

---

Scene: Morgue Vault – 2:03 AM

Surya burst into the frigid room, mist coiling at his feet.

Six figures in white robes stood around a body—chanting in Sanskrit, injecting frost serum into the corpse.

One turned—revealing a surgical mask etched with ice runes.

"Welcome, Flame Doctor," he said. "The Frost Doctrine thanks you for keeping the hospital warm."

Surya didn't wait.

He spun, striking low—disarming the nearest figure. Two syringes flew toward him—he caught one, reverse injected it into an attacker's neck.

Chaos erupted—mist, sparks, fists, chants.

Surya reached the main injector system and ripped its power supply. The body on the table convulsed—then stopped moving.

The Frost monks hissed. "You delay only the inevitable. We've touched Shunyam. It will awaken."

They vanished into cracks within the wall—literally folding light around themselves.

---

Final Scene: Temple Ruins – Sunrise

An elder monk walked to a stone pool and whispered, "Surya knows."

Another placed a fire lotus upon the water. "Then the test begins. His fire must survive the silence."

The water split into red and blue.

And far away, within Surya's chamber, the comatose girl opened her eyes—and whispered, "He's here."
