He was once human.
A boy from Earth who read comics, watched anime, and laughed at memes, all before fate tore him from that world and cast him into darkness.
Reborn in the universe of Warhammer 40,000, he became an Ultramarine, a superhuman warrior, forged in fire and war. For a centuries, he has known only bolter fire, heresy, and endless battle.
His name, his past, even Earth itself… all but faded from memory.
Until one day, amidst the carnage of a daemon incursion, he hears a sound no one in the 41st millennium should hear:
DING!

At first, he thinks it a psychic trick.
Then… recognition stirs.
Faint echoes of a boy long dead whisper to him: “I know these names.”
They were fiction.
Now they speak to him.
As he reconnects with the legendary figures of countless worlds, some heroic, some chaotic, he finds himself drawn back toward his lost humanity. Missions begin. Relationships form. And through it all, the ancient Astartes finds himself both guiding and being guided by these new companions.
Armed with a bolter and the blessings of the Emperor, he now wields something stranger:
The power to cross worlds, to speak across realities and to remember who he once was.
Duty is eternal.
But even the Emperor’s blade can remember how to dream.

I've got both praise and critique to offer after reading the first two chapters. Let’s start with the good: the pacing and flow of the story are solid. The buildup feels natural, and the writing carries momentum without dragging. There's definitely potential here, and I’m intrigued to see where it leads. Now, onto what didn’t sit right with me: the handling of the main character’s reactions feels off—especially considering his background. This is someone who just finished fighting a Greater Daemon, and suddenly a system interface shows up... and he just rolls with it? No real shock, no paranoia, no suspicion? That feels too casual for a veteran who’s survived a thousand years of war. A Custodes or Astartes of that caliber shouldn’t react like a fresh-faced isekai protagonist. And speaking of those thousand years—him remembering anything from Earth after all that time is a major plot hole. Memories fade, and after centuries drenched in blood, duty, and the warp, clinging to past-life fragments would be next to impossible unless there’s a very good in-universe explanation. One more thing: you need to account for how highly the Ultramarines would value someone like him. A battle-hardened warrior with that much history and performance? He’d be treated as a living legend, not just another pawn. That status should shape the way others interact with him—from reverence to fear to strategic manipulation. In short: great bones, but the character’s psychology and world integration need more depth. I’m sticking with it, because the premise is strong—but I hope future chapters tighten this up.
OK, DID THE AUTHOR READ WARHAMMER LORE....ULTRAMARINES DON'T ATTACK HUMANS. IT GOES AGAINST THE GOD EMPEROR OF MANKIND WILL AND THE FATHER OF ALL ULTRAMARINES WILL--by chapter 133, the MC, a ULTRAMARINE, attacks humans and acts like immotional child because he does not get what he wants -HE KILLS HUMANS, and the MC is the GOD EMPEROR JESUS-tHAT kill the novel for me-Why are all the characters simp to the mc killing humans
What I have a problem with is when a character is not kept to source material. The ultramarine world is grim and living 300 years there is hell so I can understand the robotic personality of the mc. The issue is when characters like Tony, Diana, Naruto go along with a lot of things they will absolutely not. Especially when in the DC world mc kills people for the slightest thing and they are like okay this is Gaius he has been through a lot he is tough, if he kills a few people and threatens a country then no issue. That's absurd. It is Diana's homeworld. And especially Naruto will definitely not take it so well.
the biggest problem with this story is the constant chatter of the group chat. they also never deviate from either constant praise of the mc or their constant horror of the 40k universe. the chatter is always intruding in the flow of the story and makes it a headache to read. once or twice was OK but it's always happening after every action
the story is not bad, but I don't understand how it has 1600 power stones there is nothing extraordinary here, fragments of character conversations seem to be assisted by AI
I very much want to continue reading I don't mind that it's ai generated since i know I wouldn't be able to write a book but the repeated sentences and the usual ai mumbo jumbo is annoying definitely need some editing to help with the flow
It’s interesting, I’ve never really been into war hammer so a lot of this is weird to me but it’s got a good pacing. The only real complaint I have is the emotionless feel of the main character, i get that it probably makes sense lore wise but i just can’t connect with it because of that.
Just started reading your work, so far I find it quite enjoyable. Normally I don’t touch anything 40k but I’ll definitely make a exception for this. Thanks for putting in your time and effort to entertain me.
