Suns of the Forgotten Gate

In the near future, climate collapse and ancient magnetic disruptions have fractured Earth’s natural balance, awakening long-dormant energies sealed by forgotten African gods. Deep beneath the rocky plains of Spain’s Extremadura region—where old Roman ruins whisper secrets—an ancient gate has reactivated. But it’s not from this world.



A secretive society known as The Obsidian Custodians is on the move. They carry knowledge passed down through a fusion of African myths, Chinese elemental science, and Roman ritual—a knowledge that once held the balance between worlds. The gate is opening again. And something is coming through.



Our protagonists—Ayinla, a Nigerian-Chinese code-smith with fragmented visions, and Mirella, an Italian-Igbo linguist running from her past—are drawn to the gate for reasons neither understands. Alongside them are war survivors, scholars, and warriors from different tribes and nations, each with stakes in this awakening.



But Ayinla and Mirella are not ordinary. Each carries a piece of a myth long erased—one that could determine whether this world is reborn or consumed.
