All the doctors hesitated in their actions.

Even Eric, who wasn't very firm to begin with, slowed down his movements.

He cautiously said, "…Or maybe we should just forget it?"

"Dr. Lowder, you should go home and comfort your wife first."

"You can have the surgery once you've communicated better."

Nathan Lowder felt both panicked and anxious inside.

How could he go home?

If he went home now, what would happen to Sophia Keller lying next door?

He absolutely couldn't let his beloved Sophia go blind just like that.

Nathan steeled his heart.

He closed his eyes and said, "It's alright, I'll take full responsibility."

"My wife is struggling to accept her own corneal disease, but as long as I'm the one operating, the surgery will surely succeed."

"And I've already arranged for a volunteer, who's lying next door, so it's not good to halt the surgery midway."

The other doctors were surprised.
