When Gates unleashed monsters on his city, five-year-old Jinhwan lost his family. At his eighteen birthday, a mysterious watch on his wrist awakens, granting a unique system of quests and power-ups. Driven by revenge, Jinhwan vows to master its power, hunt every beast, and destroy the Gates, no matter the cost. His path to vengeance will redefine the limits of strength.
This story started with one character, Kim Jinhwan. He’s not kind. Not humble. Not out here trying to save the world. He’s just a rich kid with a big ego who only cares about the people close to him. He doesn’t hide it. He doesn’t pretend to be more than he is. And that’s exactly why I wrote him the way I did. This is my second book. The first one? It had a good story, but I had no experience back then when I wrote it as I imagined it in my head, messy. With Sync, I waited until I felt ready. My writing’s not perfect, but it’s better. More clear, more grounded. The story is good. The rest is up to you, read it or don’t. And as for giving five stars to my own work. well, it’s my story. Of course I like it.
