A Beautiful Encounter

The beautiful girl smiling like a blooming flower was none other than Fang Yang's fiancée—the icy beauty Tan Bingbing. But right now, there wasn't a trace of the icy demeanor she usually exuded.

"Is that you?" At that moment, Tan Bingbing spotted Endymion too. Surprise flashed across her face, and at that instant, Endymion once again felt that chilling cold aura radiating from her.

"Xuejie, you two know each other?" Yu Xuenah asked curiously.

"Not now, I came to find you about something!" Tan Bingbing hurriedly interrupted. "I've been waiting for you two hours!"

Every time Endymion came here, Yu Xuenah would cut off contact with the outside world, and no one dared to go upstairs to look for her directly. So Tan Bingbing had no choice but to wait downstairs. She was quite lucky to actually catch her.

"Bingbing, can we talk about this tomorrow? I'm spending today with Xiaoling," Yu Xuenah shook her head.

"What? But Xuejie, it's urgent! The mech you designed for me last time is malfunctioning!" Tan Bingbing clung to Yu Xuenah's arm and pleaded.

"It's just a mech problem. It can wait until tomorrow," Yu Xuenah frowned. "Bingbing, come back tomorrow, okay?"

"But Xuejie, I already arranged a match tonight!" Tan Bingbing pouted, tugging Yu Xuenah's arm coquettishly. "Please help me, will you?"

Endymion doubted that if Fang Yang saw Tan Bingbing acting like this, his eyes might pop out.

"Sorry, Bingbing, I really have plans today," Yu Xuenah insisted. To her, no matter how important Tan Bingbing's problem was, it couldn't outweigh spending time with Endymion on his birthday.

Tan Bingbing looked like she might cry. This sexy ice beauty showing such vulnerability was strangely charming and heart-tugging.

"Auntie, why don't you help her? Fixing a mech shouldn't take long," Endymion whispered.

"Hehe, Xiaoling, you're not falling for her, are you?" Yu Xuenah teased with a playful smile, not caring if Tan Bingbing overheard.

"Auntie, no! She's my friend's fiancée," Endymion quickly defended.

Yu Xuenah gave Tan Bingbing a seductive smile. "Alright then, for Xiaoling's sake, I'll help you."

"Thank you so much, Xuejie!" Tan Bingbing happily hugged Yu Xuenah's neck—only she seemed to forget that Yu Xuenah was holding Endymion's arm. Her right ample breast accidentally pressed against his arm.

Endymion gasped, feeling the incredible softness, and couldn't help but let his mind wander.

"Bingbing, bring your mech in. Leave it upstairs. Xiaoling and I will buy groceries and then help you fix it," Yu Xuenah said, shooting Endymion a suggestive glance.

"Ah… okay, Xuejie." Tan Bingbing realized the awkwardness—she had known her breast was on someone's arm, but she thought it was Yu Xuenah's. Just now, she glanced down and saw it was Endymion's arm!

"Pervert!" Tan Bingbing jumped off Yu Xuenah and scolded Endymion angrily.

Endymion was speechless—he thought, "But you're the one who pushed me here!"

Of course, he didn't dare say it. Fang Yang said Tan Bingbing was violent; if he said that, she might attack him.

Endymion finally convinced Yu Xuenah to help Tan Bingbing fix the mech, while he went to buy groceries alone. Thanks to Yu Xuenah's instructions, he was not stopped on his way back this time.

After the meal was served, Yu Xuenah and Tan Bingbing were still in the workshop, so Endymion had no choice but to call them.

"Auntie, let's eat!" Endymion found them behind a pile of mechs in the cluttered workshop.

"Xiaoling, come see. Bingbing's mech is acting up and some controls are malfunctioning," Yu Xuenah looked up.

"What? You can't fix it?" Endymion was surprised; Yu Xuenah rarely failed to repair a mech.

"Yes, it's strange. It shouldn't be a problem," Yu Xuenah muttered. "Come help me find the cause or I won't eat!"

"All right!" Endymion reluctantly pushed through the mech parts and joined Yu Xuenah.

"Auntie, you're really letting him help?" Tan Bingbing was incredulous.

"What's wrong?" Yu Xuenah looked at Tan Bingbing strangely.

"You can't find the problem, how can he?" Tan Bingbing sneered. She had heard of Endymion's reputation before but didn't know he was so close to Yu Xuenah. If not for her respect for Yu Xuenah, she might have outright called him useless.

"Because everyone calls him the Endymion family's waste, you think he really is?" Yu Xuenah's beautiful face turned icy cold, her tone sharp.

"Auntie, I didn't mean that... it's just…" Tan Bingbing stammered, sensing Yu Xuenah's anger.

"Auntie, forget it. In a way, I am a waste," Endymion said quietly.

"But Xiaoling, you can't pilot mechs. No one knows mechs like you do. Whenever I'm stuck, you help me solve it!" Yu Xuenah was emotional. "I don't understand why others treat you like this. Not being able to pilot isn't your fault!"

"Not being able to pilot isn't the fault. The fault is that I'm an Endymion," Endymion shook his head. "Auntie, I know you feel bad for me, but I don't care what others think."

Endymion really couldn't pilot a mech—but he wasn't useless. In terms of mech design, he was even better than Yu Xuenah. His research was originally to build a mech he could pilot. Although he failed, it led Yu Xuenah to discover he was the true genius mech designer.

If he were born in another family, he might have become a famed designer across the galaxy. But because he was an Endymion, born into a millennium-old knight family, his only goal was to be a mech knight. He failed, so he became the family disgrace.

Taking a deep breath, Endymion shook off the chaotic thoughts and focused on the mech before him.

The mech was beautiful, obviously designed for a female pilot—clearly a special order from Yu Xuenah for Tan Bingbing.

Endymion immersed himself fully, seeming to merge with the mech. The functions of each component gradually became clear. Data flashed rapidly through his mind as he simulated combat scenarios using this mech.

Moments later, he exhaled slowly, a faint smile on his face. He had found the cause of the malfunction.

"Auntie, let's eat." Endymion stood.

"Okay!" Yu Xuenah pulled Tan Bingbing up. "Bingbing, let's go!"

"Huh?" Tan Bingbing looked puzzled, then pitiful. "Xuejie, you're not fixing my mech?"
