Max grabbed the oars and started paddling, propelling the raft forward. Despite having no experience navigating a paddled raft, he relied on his spirit to steer in right direction and kept paddling to maintain his momentum.
Soon he reached area where a lot of oceans weed, and other stuff tangled together.
Max slowly directed his raft next to the shrubs and started pulling the items back onto the raft.
There were two plastics drums which were surrounded by the weed and few pieces of wood and a rusty iron treasure chest.
As soon as max touched the plastic drum they were dismantled automatically and converted into two units of plastic.
And the weed also got stored into the inventory where the previous one is stored and only the rusty iron treasure chest stayed on the raft.
Max hurriedly sat Infront of the treasure chest and started praying and before placing his hand onto the box and opened the box.
A soft glow emitted, and few miniatures size items present in the box.
Max transferred those items back into the inventory and excitedly opened to check the item information.
Inside the inventory after a quick look, Max found four new items which were transferred from the treasure box, two of items were blueprints and other item was a fishing line with a hook and a green apple.
Max put the fishing line with the hook aside for the time being and found the two blueprints and learned them.
The blueprints consist of a wooden parasol and a wood fishing pole.
The wooden parasol is a blueprint which can be used multiple times while the fishing pole blueprint is a onetime blueprint.
Although the fishing pole is a one-time blueprint, Max didn't feel bad about it since the fishing rod doesn't come with string, hook, or bait, which require extra materials for production.
And the material for production of string and hook are really scarcely present in the trade market.
Max clicked the produce button, causing the blueprint to vanish and the resources to decrease by two wood logs, a fishing string, and a hook from his inventory and a fresh newly produced fishing rod appeared in his storage.
Maxx took his time on the production page, selecting the wood parasol option. He clicked on the production section to start crafting, which required twenty wooden logs for construction. Soon, a new wooden parasol appeared in front of him.
Max quickly grabbed the parasol before it could tilt and fall into the ocean. He placed it in the center of the raft and used the system function to secure it, ensuring the parasol stood upright and steady at the raft's center.
Max checked the connection between raft and parasol; and found that even if he uses all his strength, he cannot detach it forcefully from the raft.
Max opened the parasol and realized it covered three-quarters of the entire raft, providing cool shade that offered relief from the scorching sun.
Then he pulled the fishing rod out of the inventory and realized it was just a plain white-quality wooden fishing pole with no special features.
He tore off a corner of a piece of bread, hooked it onto the fishing hook as bait, took a big swing, and cast the hook into the ocean, then settled in to wait for a fish to bite.
While waiting to catch a fish, Max examined the green apple he had found in the treasure chest. He discovered that it was an extraordinary fruit that, according to the system appraisal, could increase his strength and defense by 1 point when eaten.
Max wasted no time bringing the fruit to his mouth, chewing it vigorously without spilling a single bit.
As soon as Max finished eating the fruit, he felt his body heat up, his strength and defense increase, and the tan he had accumulated from spending all morning in the sun faded, restoring his skin to a healthy color.
Max hurriedly opened the panel and checked the attributes on his personal panel.

Now every attribute on his body has reached 10 points in strength, defense and agility while his spirit is still the highest which is at 15 points.
After eating the apple, Max still felt hungry, so he grabbed the bread and water bottle from his inventory and began having his first meal in this new world.
Soon he completed his meal in few bites and rested under the parasol while making raft oars and parasol and kept for sale in the system trade area.
Max didn't keep the price of parasol high; he just increased the price by 5 more wooden logs.
Soon many who were surviving in the hot sun in the ocean saw parasol being sold, immediately started placing order and private messaged max urging him to place more parasol in the market so they can buy.
The sales continued for an hour and Max sold at least 100 parasols in the meantime which earned him of profit of 500 wooden logs, which brough his total wood count to 800 in his inventory.
As he has collected required logs to upgrade his raft, Max immediately used his panel to upgrade the raft to level 4 which increase its durability by another 100 points.
To upgrade the raft to level 5, he needed 500 wooden logs but was currently 100 short. He decided to shift his focus back to the market, hoping to sell a few more oars and parasols to gather the remaining materials for the upgrade.
Max noticed that most of the survivors are still having a hard time upgrading their rafts to level 2. As a result, many are reluctant to spend their energy on the market and are instead traveling in search of resources to upgrade their rafts and improve their chances of survival.
Max felt it was unfortunate and decided to gather more resources through trade. At night, when everyone had downtime, he planned to sell wood in exchange for other materials, helping the other survivors upgrade their raft levels.
