"Why were you talking to that human? Why did you let him touch you?" Drystan backs me into an empty classroom, "Did you forget who you belong to?" 

I laugh, bitterly, "I don't belong to a man who sold me off to his subordinates..."

"What—What did you say?" Drystan flinches as if the mere thought of it is inconceivable to him. 

Before I can utter another word, a strong arm wraps around my waist, "Missed me, Little wolf?" Warm lips trail greedy kisses down my neck, right in front of Drystan. 

I shove the masked man away from me, "Miss you? You hid your identity from me. You manipulated me... you used me... Now, I am done with you both. This time, I will have a normal life and a normal boyfriend." 

"DON'T YOU DARE!" 

I hear both the men scream yet my footsteps do not falter as I walk away from them.

The Alphas' Secret Addiction

"What's wrong with her?" I look at Julia.

The healer shakes his head, "The lady is not in danger. But it seems like she was attacked by a sharp metal. And because of the shock, she lost consciousness."

"A-Alpha…" Julia stirs in the bed and reaches out towards me, "I… I should not have gone behind your back to meet Adeline. I thought we were cousins and she might confide in me. Then, I can help you out with the curse that ties you to her but I never thought she would attack me like this…"

And I know her words are not entirely false. It has been three days since Adeline was locked up in the prison.

When Julia visited her the first day, I was already alerted of the words exchanged between them.

Julia kept questioning about what she had done to me, and Adeline kept ignoring her.
