Synopsis

Ezrel, a pragmatic coder, never believed in magic—until he was transported to Aethel, a world built on it. Armed only with logic and a mysterious grimoire, he begins to decode spells like lines of code. But magic doesn’t like to be unraveled. As ancient forces stir and enemies close in, Ezrel must choose: reshape this world with reason, or lose himself to the chaos he cannot control.

A Humble Review by the Author The Coder’s Grimoire by CarloRadio Hi, author here. I won’t lie—this book started with one simple idea: what if a programmer fell face-first into a fantasy world where nothing made sense and everything ran on emotion instead of logic? The Coder’s Grimoire follows Ezrel, who responds to magic circles the way most of us react to broken code—with intense staring and mild panic. He tries to reverse-engineer magic, accidentally breaks cultural norms, stumbles into village diplomacy, and somehow earns the trust of people who speak in metaphors and riddles. There's a talking book (probably), a wise elder who's way too patient, and at least one magical experiment that almost causes an arcane disaster. It’s a story about understanding things you weren’t meant to understand—and trying really hard not to get fireballed in the process. If you like your fantasy with logic puzzles, social awkwardness, slow-burn worldbuilding, and a protagonist who just wants a user manual for reality... this might be for you. Thanks for giving it a shot. – CarloRadio (aka: that guy trying to rewrite the rules of magic like it’s a Git repo)
