chapter 7 :From hangover to husband in one day

(HAN GROUP)

"Chairman Han, Vice President Minjoon, Mr. Kang and Young Master Taewon are here to see you."

Minjoon exchange a quick glance with his father.

"Please, let them in."

Moments later, Kang Taewon entered, following behind his father with his usual calm and polite demeanor. The greetings were formal, and soon, coffee was served .

Chairman Kang smiled as he set down his cup.

"I've thought over our last meeting carefully. Regarding our children's engagement."

Chairman Han raised an eyebrow, "Ah ,I assume you came with some thoughts to share."

"Indeed." Mr. Kang leaned forward slightly. "We Kang family have decided it's better to skip the long engagement altogether. We've talked enough during the proposal. A direct marriage would be more efficient. My business trip to Japan is next week, and the project our companies will collaborate on starts next month. It's best we handle the wedding beforehand."

Chairman Han gave a low chuckle. "Straightforward as always."

"I understand this is sudden," Taewon spoke with his usual soft politeness. "But I will take responsibility. I won't let Jihyun feel uncomfortable after marriage. I hope you'll entrust him to me."

Chairman Han seemed pleased. "Good son ,Saturday, then."

Mr. Kang nodded. "Saturday."

(Han mention)

"Go wake up that sleepy head " Mrs. Han's sharp tone made the housekeeper flinch. "I want him downstairs before lunch this time."

The maid hurried upstairs and knocked several times before timidly pushing open the grand bedroom door.

"Young Master please wake up mrs han is waiting downstairs "

Jihyun groaned dramatically from beneath his blankets. "What now ?"

Dragging himself out of bed like a ghost resurrected, he made his way downstairs hair sticking in 10 different directions.plopping down in his chair like he hadn't a care in the world.

"Breakfast."

Mrs. Han's smile twitched.

"Breakfast? After last night? You should be eating regret, not food."

"Why mom?"

Mrs. Han's hand landed sharply on the table.

"Do you know who brought you home? Who carried you upstairs?"

"hyung?"

"No. Your fiancé. Kang Taewon himself."

Jihyun's mouth fell open.

"Wait… what… he…?"

"He apologized for you. Polite, well-mannered."

(Evening time)

Minjoon walked in, slipping off his jacket. Jihyun still arguing with Mrs han "mom tell me you are kidding right mom please,"

"Oh, hyung you're back."

"Saturday. That's your wedding day. Congratulations." Minjoon said straight forward.

Jihyun's jaw dropped.

"What?"

Minjoon sat down calmly.

"Kang family decided. No engagement. Straight to marriage. Dad agreed.

"Huh, how can dad..dad"

Mrs. Han sighed. "It's better this way. You're getting older, Jihyun. You need someone who can keep you steady."

"Your dad is back let's eat dinner"

At dinner, the tension hung heavier than usual. Mr. Han finally broke the silence.

"Tomorrow, you'll go shopping with Kang Taewon and his family.Pick out your wedding clothes. It's your responsibility to behave properly in front of them.After that, spend time together. A meal, a proper conversation."

" Also,Prepare yourselves for Saturday."

Mrs. Han gave a soft nod, half worried, half relieved.

"don't worry I'll go with him"

Jihyun huffed.

"Shopping? Date? Why are you all treating this like a real marriage?"

Mr. Han's eyes sharpened.

"What do you mean by real"

"It is real. Don't embarrass me any further."

Jihyun stood up, chair scraping.

"Fine. Whatever. I don't care."

"Sit down and eat ." Mr Han's voice cut sharp.

"I'm not hungry"

Jihyun already walked off.

(Upstairs jihyun's room)

Minjoon knocked once before entering.

"You're sulking again ?"

"I don't want to marry him" Jihyun's voice was muffled in his pillow.

Minjoon said quietly. "But Kang Taewon he's different. He's not like those Alphas you hang around. He's patient. Gentle. Responsible.also super rich as you like.exactly your type."

Jihyun turned his face away. "So what."

Minjoon sat on the edge of the bed, looking tired but sincere.

"You don't need to love him now. Just try not to ruin this before it even starts . at least he treats people like humans.specially Omega's "

"I didn't asked for any of them "

"Buy jihyun this is your reality .so,stop running from it ."

"Still, I hate this stupid engagement,I hate you,dad,mom and everyone that alpha as well .

"His name is Kang taewon .

Also ,Hate as much as you want.but tomorrow behave don't irritate mom focus on tomorrow date, choose the best, don't cause trouble.also, for tomorrow don't use your little tricks."

When the door closed behind the Minjoon.

Jihyun lay on his bed , staring at the ceiling.

"Why always him .why kang taewon"
