Elnare explores the strange prison, she is in a metal vines, black crystal. There is a shattered mirror , when she looks into it, she doesn't see herself. She sees Zayven beside a fire, blood on his hands. she whispers; ''Who are you really.''
Zayven finds Kael carving something from bone and silver. Kael handed him a silver dagger, with a mark that Zayven doesn't recognize.
Kael tells him; ''This is how we survive. When the bond breaks and it will, you use this on yourself before the curse takes her as well.''
Zayven says i don't need it but i will keep it for now.
Elnare begins to have flashes , this time not just of Zayven now, also of his past.
She sees; '' A burning house, voices screaming, Zayven eyes, glowing gold and his claws all out.''
She remembers his curse and the danger.
Zayven finds a half burnt letter in kael's refuge, one that Kael first wrote to his bonded partner.
He reads the letter; ''The curse doesn't kill us. It twists love into weapon, into quilt, into chains.''
Zayven read the letter over and over again realizing how close he is to do the same thing to her.
Elnare feels the moment Zayven first shifted, his rage, his lose, his screams, everything. She touches her chest which is in pain already, her glow dims widely.
She says; ''This bond, is not just a feeling but it is a memory, pain and blood.''
She hears a voice in the shadows saying; ''Now you understand who he really is.''
Zayven dreams but this time, she stands across from him in a field of ash. She did not smile. She did not reach for him. She says; Why did you not tell me you kill them. Zayven get on his knees, and say i didn't mean to , i don't know how it happen. she turn and leaves so was the light.
Zayven wakes, in hollow , Kael who was sitting close to him says; ''You can't hide what you are, the bond sees everything. Now you don't have to lie.''
Elnare is quiet now. No glow, no presence. Zayven walks into the forest alone the silver blade at his side. He whispers; ''I never want to lose you. Maybe i should have never found you.''
''And in silence, their hearts beat alone.''
