Zayn Razin, a young man from Earth, is reincarnated into a fantastical world known as Mundus Novus by a mysterious entity he calls 'The Arbiter.' In this new world, he is reborn as Oruvan, the child of a forbidden union between The Cursed Darkborn and The Holy Sanctum.

The true test begins when the demonic blood in Oruvan's veins allows the Demon King to attempt possession of his body. As he grows stronger, he learns of the Demon King's grand ambition to conquer the world and works tirelessly to thwart it.

Just as the humans are weakened by their battles with the demons, the Dragonborne seize the opportunity to expand their territory, driven by an increasing birth rate and dwindling resources. Oruvan's strength and leadership enable him to subdue the dragon threat, but this victory brings him to the attention of the Seven Monarchs, powerful beings who perceive him as a threat to their dominion.

Oruvan's quest for a tranquil life ironically propels him into the heart of a monumental conflict. His resolve to protect the human lands and secure his dream of a peaceful existence leads to an unprecedented war against the Monarchs. In this epic struggle, Oruvan must confront the mightiest forces of the Mundus Novus and prove that even a desire for simplicity can ignite a revolution.

Two Worlds Between

I immediately return to Liora and make a sully face.

Liora was relieved I came out from hiding as she cannot find me anywhere and gave me a sad look. Her voice stopped from calling me as she saw me walk to her from afar.

"Oruvan! I found you!" Her voice was pleased to see me.

"Not exactly fair, seeking help from your maids, is it?" I try to act.

Her jubilant response was contagious. "But you came out, Oruvan! I did it!"

"But it's fine. I will let you win this time." I give her a chance of winning.

"Yay! Thank you, Oruvan." Liora cheers in enjoyment. Her embrace radiated happiness, although her maids couldn't hide their disapproval of my proximity.

"Aren't you hungry? We had already played so long till this morning. I'll buy you some ice cream. Do you want it?" I offered her a treat.

Liora without hesitation accepted my offer.

The head maid immediately stopped her. "You can't do that young princess. We will prepare you something to eat if you want."

Liora threw a tantrum when the maid did not give her permission. As she was stubborn about having an ice cream, the head had to concede defeat and allow her to do what she wanted.

I asked Liora to wait for me at the royal palace garden when I was going out to buy her some ice cream at the place that I already went to yesterday. The ice cream is really good and I bought three of which one I sent to Elijah first and the two are for me and Liora. I head back to the royal palace with the two ice creams in my hand.

I meet Liora at the garden and pass through the gate while flying.

Liora with a smile on her face, got the ice cream that I bought for her. Without getting tested first by the maid, she already eats it. The maid was afraid that there was a poison that would be fatal to her.

I give them a look like an innocent kid that doesn't know anything. With the ice cream finally in hand, Liora wasted no time indulging. My innocent facade seemed to convince the maids with my innocent smile.

"Are they seriously thinking I would poison her just because she is a princess? They need to loosen up a bit. They worry too much about everything. It's not like I'm an assassin" I thought to myself as I was in disbelief.

With a triumphant expression, I reminded them that I was just a harmless kid.

While eating the ice cream, I glance at Liora.

"Yes! This is my first time trying it." Liora explained. Without her concern, I took a bite of her ice cream to give it a taste. "Erm! This is really good. Here taste mine" I handed her my ice cream but she was embarrassed and ran away from me.

I try to chase her and offer her "I can get you ice cream every day if you want."

Liora's enthusiasm was uncontainable. She stopped and asked me for a confirmation, "Really?!"

"Sure, as long as you want to see me again." I added.

"Of course. I always want to see you. You're my only true friend." Loria smiles brightly.

My gaze shifted to the maids, their jealousy palpable as I gained their permission to spend time with Liora everyday.

As soon as we finished the ice cream, I took a look at the time and it was already late.

Liora was dissatisfied when I was about to leave.

"Will you come again tomorrow?"Her downcast expression tugged at my heartstrings.

"Of course. Let's practice the sword together with me for tomorrow." I asked her to play with me.

"Practice sword?!" She was reluctant to respond.

"Yeah. If you can, I will come here again tomorrow" I explained.

Liora was taking a moment before answering me. She feels scared because she is not good with the sword. But she gathered her courage to accept my offer because she wanted to see me again.

As she answered me, I took my leave and promised her to come in the morning as usual.
