A quiet office romance about missed chances, soft confessions, and choosing love when it’s easier not to.
Hiro likes his routine. Coding, vending machine coffee, and keeping his feelings for Lin safely tucked away where they can’t mess anything up. But when she gets a job offer in Osaka, the clock starts ticking, and suddenly, staying silent doesn’t feel so safe anymore.
Lin, calm and thoughtful, is stuck between career momentum and the life she’s slowly building here.
While Hiro fumbles with feelings he's never said out loud, their friends Kayla and Kenji, loud, sharp, and constantly bickering, are doing their best to help... or interfere, depending on the day. What starts as playful teasing slowly turns into something deeper between them too, leaving the whole group tangled in late-night conversations, half-meant jokes, and feelings none of them are ready to name.
Told with warmth, dry humor, and the kind of emotional honesty that lingers, Nothing With You is a slow-burn yet short love story about timing, hesitation, and how sometimes, the hardest part of falling for someone is admitting it out loud.
All the characters were relatable and funny. My personal favorite is Kenji, not just because he was the most animated but because I'd love him as a friend irl. The main character got me facepalming and gave me second hand embarrassment but it was cute. But sequel when?
