They burned his home. They took his sister. But they couldn’t take his will to fight.
Alaric was only seven when the cult came. One moment, he was dreaming of becoming a knight with his friends. The next, his world was reduced to fire and screams.
Left for dead and carrying a power he doesn't understand, Alaric is taken in by the Northern Duchy. But he doesn’t want to heal. He wants to get stronger. To find his sister. To stop those who hunt the remnants of his royal blood.
But there’s more to this world than swords and spirits. In a land haunted by ancient magic and forgotten truths, Alaric must become more than a survivor—he must become the flame that turns the tide.
A slow-burn epic about grief, destiny, and rising from the ashes.
Great story. Different concept. World building is amazing. I liked that the prologue is past, not future. I hope the author can maintain the release of chapters.
