In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da  Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk.  Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. 

This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. 

Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features.  His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side.

However, the golden-haired demon ape within the array seemed to sense the strengthening of the enchantment, and became enraged, swinging its giant club even more furiously. Shadows of the club, mountainous in size, swept wildly in all directions, and shock waves rumbled once more through the dark qi.


Yang Gan, who initially only wanted to stabilize the array a bit before retreating, was forced to groan in reluctance and stay within the array, pouring his magical power into the array flags like a flood.


In no time, the entire array was a scene of black qi and club shadows fiercely colliding, and from time to time, black tornadoes shot up into the sky, making the entire enchantment constantly tumultuous.


Outside the forest, Liu Ming's figure flickered, ghost-like as he flashed past a grey demon ape firmly clamped by the pincers of a bone scorpion. At the same time, several streaks of cyan sword qi flashed by, slicing the giant ape into pieces, and the blood dyed the ground red.
