Wang Yu

In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da  Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk.  Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. 

This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. 

Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features.  His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side.

Liu Ming still hid in a giant tree, silently gazing towards the mountain peak not far away.


Ten or so zhang away was the Six Illusionary Yin Array previously set by Yang Gan.


This array had no effect in injuring the enemy, and served only to confuse and trap them. It was quite simple to break for anyone with a bit of knowledge about arrays. Nevertheless, to confine a demonic ape for a while, it was surely more than enough.


As Liu Ming pondered this, his gaze contracted and turned towards another smaller tree nearby.


This ordinary-looking tree was actually a transformed puppet beast, with Jin Yu hiding inside it.


It seemed that he had learned from the methods of Senior Brother Yun to adopt such a means of concealment.


It appeared these puppet beasts were quite practical. If an opportunity arose to acquire one or two with similar auxiliary functions, they would surely come in handy in the future.
