Wang Yu

In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da  Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk.  Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. 

This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. 

Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features.  His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side.

An endless desolate Gobi stretched before the eyes, where bizarrely shaped giant grey rocks and gravel littered the ground, intermittently swept over by howling winds, producing a chorus of distant moans.


Above the Gobi, a strange grey-brown cloud floated in the sky, which at a glance, seemed to merge with the far-off desert, giving an illusion of a chaotic world before creation.


This place was one of Taqing Sect's mysterious forbidden grounds.


At the heart of the Gobi, with True Man Tiange of the Taqing Sect at the lead, more than ten seniors of the sect's celestial elders stood in utter silence, their expressions extremely solemn.


Their gaze was fixed on the dark grey altar standing before them. The altar had seven tiers, with a staircase on each side leading to the top.
