In a remote jungle nestled between Chu City and Whitewater City within the Da  Xuan Country, a thin and frail figure was leaning against a thick tree trunk.  Both of his legs were spread apart in a relaxed manner. 

This figure belonged to a thirteen or fourteen-year-old teenager. 

Aside from his unusually pale face, the boy had fairly common facial features.  His clothes were loose-fitting and a bright shining steel sword was carelessly thrown by his side.

Three months later, in the deep South Sea adjacent to the Zhongtian continent.


At the ocean floor, numerous bizarre coral reefs were visible everywhere, some resembling millstones and others like intertwined vines, all in a variety of colors.


Now and then, peculiar and brightly colored fish swam in and out of the coral reefs. Suddenly, the area around the corals darkened as a shadow passed overhead, flickering with hints of silver light.


It was Liu Ming, bearing a pair of huge silver wings.


As he gently flapped his wings, he propelled himself forward more than thirty feet in an instant, gliding more gracefully than any fish in the sea.


Suddenly, his gaze sharpened, focusing on a sea-floor trench.


There, a pale silver light radiated, conspicuous in the dim underwater depths. It was a jellyfish, about ten feet in size, translucent like a sunflower, nestled within.
