A Snail's Wisdom

Reviewing my own book because I enjoy reading it. I only try to write to the best of my abilities as consistently as possible and already know what's going to happen from here on out, so I give this book my perfect rating! Of course, I am a little biased.

This is the first Eastern+cultivation novel I have ever read and I don't regret spending my time on it. It is written quite brilliantly. It might take two to three chapters before you are submerged and transported to another world but wait for it because it's a book worth giving shot. I added this book to my library in the beginning because of the way the chapters were written. Firstly, having read a lot of books online not everyone has the ability to conjure a writing style that pretty much feels like reading a physical book you would pick from a store. Secondly, not everyone maintains the same quality of writing throughout the story. This one had been consistent when it comes to quality. The chapters are long enough to keep the momentum of the story. The chapters are smooth with no awkward transition. There is a good amount of description, detailing the scenes and setting of where which has its own world. Coming to the characters, hmm. Let's start with Kenja the main lead of the book. He has a down to earth personality, rational and mature who has the ability to handle people well. After coming across a lot ML who are either conceited or trying to be smug with a smirk on their face, Kenja is a breath of fresh air. And then we have our beloved snail-sensei (should call him sly-sensei), he's witty and charming. Quite a character who keeps taking credit for no reason ಠ_ಠ (you will love him). We have other characters who aren't 2D which you will find as you read the book like Kimura-san, Hime-sama, and other ones like, well, for the rest go read the book! For a person who enjoys romance/supernatural fiction who never took an interest in this genre of story, you have managed to keep me hooked. Ahem, I was told the chapters would be updated soon and around the corner, so I shall wait ^.^

I'll make sure to write no spoilers for this! The story follows the main character, Kenja, and his very two unlikely companions. Both the companions happen to not be human, which leads to some extremely interesting situations. I am set on not spoiling anything, so just give it a read! The story seems chalk full of originality with some cliches sprinkled here and there, give it a chance!

A Snail’s Wisdom focuses on Kenja’s adventures to attain immortality with the help of Snail-sensei and his sword. Kenja is such an admirable protagonist. He’s realistically portrayed with human faults but he shines with his maturity and intelligence which perfectly balance out Snail’s shameless and impulsive behaviors. This book is outside of my typical reading genre but it kept me interested because of how the dialogues were written. The storyline is well-paced and it successfully maintained a balance between hilarity and seriousness. I’m truly amazed of the author’s sense of humor which is apparent the entire time. I really enjoyed reading it and I’m excited to read more! ☺️ Btw, if English is not your first language, you might need a dictionary beside you while reading this. 🙈 But don’t be discouraged and don’t give up on this book! It’s a fun read through and through.

I hate myself for reading this because now that I am up-to-date, I am tortured with having to wait for the new chapters. This is the only novel you've posted on this website, but does the author have more somewhere else under a different pen name?? the review: Writing quality was ****** and elegant. Not a huge amount of info dumps which is nice cuz I often skip a lot on the other CNs in here :/ Story is amazing, started off slow, but I think this journey is gunna be big, so he laid a good foundation. Character design is amazing, Kenja is smart, hard-working and affectionate with his loved ones with the right dash of slyness. Snail is pompous, obnoxious, and all-knowing. Sakura is feisty and cute, I hope she will talk soon. World background hasnt gone too far, but I am impressed with everything the author has built up so far. Giant desert that used to be a sea/ocean. City with basic circular design and the concept of lower,middle and upper class. Please, keep writing. I'm throwing my stones at you!!

As all reviewers before me said ..and boy with tooo perfect body and soul cant cultivate naturally like other normal people ,as they cancel eachother out. hardbent on going on immortal route to find his origin he stumples our LORD SWORD AND LORD SNAIL(MAD SNAIL)who will help him in cultivation world. this is creativity full novel with no cringe and if it goes the same cringe route author explains in a way u will accept that and follow the cliche. there is no one track mind mc after some chap after he gets power. I look forward to this great new author creativity and hope he wont get slowly possed by cliche and put cliche in story.thanks for story and vote vote vote

A great read, and I loved the author’s writing style. Interesting turn of events for Kenja, and can’t wait to read more! Highly recommend this novel.

The writing is good but there large amounts of plot holes scattered everywhere. Most of the characters don't seem that well thought out and do things that no sense. I will say that the main character is a semi decent character however (still has senseless actions). Apologies, but I can't get invested in a novel like this so I'm dropping it.

I got hooked to this immediately. Can’t believe I ended up binge reading the entirety of this. The overall setup and plot was intriguing and paved a way to a mixture of emotions. The character development was unique and as a reader, it felt quite intimate. The plot was well paced and had its moments of subtle shock followed by reassuring and encouraging elements. Even though my imagination was on point for me personally, I would absolutely love to see this story get adapted into an anime sometime. Outstanding work and can’t wait to read more of this amazing adventure!

Very amusing characters and on a chapter-by-chapter basis one of the most interesting stories I have read. I would definitely recommend. The plot currently up to (ch.86) has not been extremely novel, but is executed so well that it feels like it is.

This is a delightfully whimsical tale of a very resourceful young man. Unlike many cultivation stories where the main character advances faster than normal, our hero has some unusual obstacles to overcome; including a very powerful snail-sensai he must continually outwit. This leads to situations that have me laughing out loud. I only wish the updates were more often.
