Training

"Ugghhhh..."

Like every day, Chang Guan woke up fearing his inability to leave his bed. Knowing he was in no state the leave his bed, he thought, `Oh well, I guess I might as well enter my mind's room again...´.

Chang Guan had slept but didn't use the Rotation Intent. Although the Rotation Intent will put your body to sleep, your mind is very active. Because of this, if Chang Guan tried to replace sleep with the Rotation Intent, it wouldn't function as proper sleep.

Of course, the main reason Chang Guan didn't do this, was because he liked sleeping and didn't want to get rid of it.

He was aware of how amazing his Rotation Intent was. Not only could it help in in everyday life and battle by changing his emotions, but it could even give him a place where he could practice his skills with at least 3 times efficiency.

What Chang Guan didn't know, was that in actuality, his practice efficiency was at least 10 times better in his mind's room than in reality. This was because of a few reasons.

The first, was the one Chang Guan had accounted for, the time difference. Inside of his mind, time was at least 3 times slower than on the outside.

The second was that there was an enemy in his mind's room. The practice of martial arts was very dependent on having a proper enemy. Although the situation was slightly different for tactics, it was basically the same.

The third was his super analytic mind. His mind was completely focused on finding all of his flaws in his mind's room, which means he was able to properly identify his weaknesses and how to fix them.

And lastly was he could imagine his practice ground. For now, this didn't mean much, but some techniques could only be learned in special areas. Some examples of this were the Shura Tactic and the Ocean Lock Tactic. These were both easier to learn in certain environments.

Chang Guan closed his eyes and made his R/s drop. 10 seconds later, and he was back in his mind's room. When he arrived, his training began with him imagining a field. This was a large empty field, and also the place where he had trained his Stacked Speed Tactic in the past.

Chang Guan didn't know why, but the moment he arrived in his mind's room, he felt full of energy, very much unlike his previous, sleepy state. He figured it must have something to do with the Rotation Intent.

He looked around, his eyes full of nostalgia. In truth, although not a bad spot to practice, it was far from ideal. The Stacked Speed was easier to practice in a large flat field, and the perfect practice ground would be extremely large and flat.

Chang Guan had originally tried imagining a large flat area, but for some reason, it had failed. Chang Guan had no choice but to assume that he could only create something he had seen before.

After a short sigh of resignation due to him finding a limit of his Rotation Intent's power. He began training his Stacked Speed Tactic. Out of all of his elementary Tactics, this was his weakest one, only being on the fourth layer.

Although this was plenty powerful for a normal person, for Chang Guan, it was far behind his other 2 Tactics which were both on the sixth layer.

He began running at a rapid pace. Each of his steps seemed extremely large. As he was moving, his brain was vigorously attempting to correct all incorrect movement, perfecting the way he was moving. Slowly he began moving faster and faster.

At first, the rate of his increased speed was large, but it slowly decreased until it was difficult to notice him accelerating. This was due to all of the easy faults having been mentally solved by Chang Guan.

But if there were no simple faults, then only difficult faults to solve remained. These would take longer to fix than the others but were slowly being solved.

Chang Guan managed to reach the fifth layer before the increase of speed was so small that it didn't really matter anymore.

Chang Guan continued running for about 30 minutes after he reached the fifth layer in the Stacked Speed Tactic until he eventually stopped.

He did a similar training regiment for the other 2 elementary Tactics, training the cloaking Tactic in a dark and dense forest, and the body double Tactic in a battle against one of his cousins from the Ryuu clan.

Having finished the elementary practice, he then did a few practice battles training his Misdirect Knife Art and regular throwing knife techniques. His practice partner was Ryuu Kiyoshi. They fought 3 times.

"Ughh, I lost..."

Chang Guan lost every single battle against Ryuu Kiyoshi. Well, it was inevitable since Ryuu Kiyoshi was filled with such a powerful killing intent that even Chang Guan was slightly scared of.

This, however, did not make Chang Guan unmotivated, as each battle he fared a little better, getting close to defeating him the third time.

2 hours later, and Chang Guan had finally finished all of his training. He had spent approximately 3 and a half hours in this space, which would mean about an hour and 10 minutes in real time. Deciding this was enough, he left his mind's room.

Upon leaving his mind's room, he was once more in his bed. He checked the time by looking at the sun. Deciding he still had some time before getting breakfast, he decided to cultivate.

Unfortunately, cultivation could not do anything inside of his mind's room, as it wasn't his true body and just a mental projection of himself.

*Sigh*

Chang Guan let out a tired sigh. Out of all of Ninjutsu, gathering energy was the part Chang Guan disliked the most. Who could blame him? Compared to the other parts of Ninjutsu, this was something Chang Guan was slightly above average at best and mediocre at worst.

"If only I had some way of gathering energy faster..."
