"WAKE UP!!!"
This loud, sudden voice caused Brian to jolt awake. The same scene took place ineachof the corners of the room. It appeared that they had all been way too tired to concentrate on things that they already knew.
The teacher, whose name was still not known to them since they slept through it, then began talking again.
"You think you know the subject, huh? Well, why don't you guys come up and teach?"
The five used their mental connection to discuss.
The decision they came to was an alliance between the two factions- it was actually more like a temporary truce when faced with a common enemy- and stood up in unison.
"Sure!!!"
"Pfft"
"Hahaha"
"OMG, aren't they a little to cocky?"
Their statement had caused everyone to burst out into laughter. The teacher currently felt extremely ashamed and angry, seeing his own students reacting like this.
To be honest, the five people who were in a temporary alliance were also quite angry, they had all only come here to be taught by the best of the best about things that could rapidly raise their fighting prowess, but instead they were just going over things they knew.
"You pieces of s*** think you can beat me! Hmph! I, Ben Dover, challenge you to a duel."
Everyone's faces contorted at this. Ben dover, bend over. 'Our relationship isn't that deep yet!' is what they were all thinking. Only after a while did they realize that that was his name.
Caesar, being as carefree and joke-loving as he was, said something witty.
"Ok, we, the Hugh Mungus Wolf Alliance, accept your challenge!"
The other four "members" of the Hugh Mungus Wolf Alliance, facepalmed in unison, without telepathy. Everyone else just started laughing their guts out.
"Hhaha, that was so good!"
"*Gasp* I can't breath!"
"Hugh Mungus, humongous, that's good!"
Caesar was an amazing actor and put on an innocent face, saying
"Why are you laughing, I'm just saying our alliance name, a humongous wolf."
This stirred up even more laughter from the crowd.
They felt as if all their grievances were let out. They too knew of all the knowledge that the teacher was talking about, but because of his status, they shut themselves up. Those who spoke up were arrogantly shut up by Mr. Dover, and had their mouths taped up.
Ben was clearly an overly arrogant snob who only worked here for the money. He honestly did not give a single piece of s*** about the bright talents he was teaching.
It was just the kind of person he was.
That is what Brian concluded when he looked around the room, and naturally, like anyone, he got angry. But he wasn't just angry at the teacher, but also his classmates.
They had let themselves be oppressed by someone just because they were of higher status. Brian and Caesar's dream, which had been taken up by the rest of their team, went against this. They wanted to end oppression so what they saw disgusted them greatly.
"You pieces of s***! You wanna f***ing make fun of my name, come at me if you dare. 3 days later, you guys, me, in the arena. Life and death. You die or I die. No two ways around it. And the rest of you. You find this funny? Well sucks to be you, you have no teacher anymore. Now go f*** off!"
With that, he turned around and furiously stomped out of the room.
Seeing as he had not brought anything in as reference for his students, it was obvious how little he cared about his student's education. This made everyone in Brian's team mad.
They all held the same belief, or variations on it. And one of their core mottos was 'if you don't do it, just leave it be. But if you are doing it, do it till the end!'
Seeing as Ben Dover signed up to be a teacher, he should've done his job properly, but instead he took so many corners. This annoyed the team.
Suddenly Akbar had a wonderful idea and hared it with his team. They all agreed.
All the other students saw these five geniuses walk to the lectern.
That's right, they were planning to teach their peers.
"Hey guys, we're the Wolf Alliance. I'm Brian-"
"-Akbar,"
"-Daisuke,"
"William,'
"Caesar,"
"And we apologize for all the trouble we caused!"
At this, they simultaneously bowed down to their peers. This caused a wave of emotion to go through the rest of the students. These people who had stood up for them were now saying sorry for inconveniencing their learning.
'This is what a leader should be like,' they thought, 'this is what a f***ing leader should be like'!
A long-lasting applause rang through the room.
Brian walked up to the microphone and everyone stopped their applause.
"Ok. Now, we, as a team, have decided to repay you for the education that you lost. We will teach you."
This made the others happy. The five geniuses were going to teach them, and fullheartedly at that.
"But,"
-Of course there was a but. What, you thought they were all nice, *Snort*. Don't forget that I have already taken the 'rebirth' pill. I understand the intricacies of nature. For give, there will be take. For every debt, there will be a debtor. Enough philosophy, anyway, I'm just here to say that of course there is a but.-
"We have a request. You don't need to take the request, it is just that without it, we will not teach you. Our request is simple, you sign a soul contract with us!"
This caused a buzz to go through the room. They had not been expecting this.
The four people standing behind Brian did not even change their expressions, as they had already knew about this through Brian's ambitions. He needed subordinates. Ones that he could trust. Where better to get them than through the best education facility in the worlds.
"What are the terms?"
Someone asked. Brian smiled.
He had gotten their interest.
"Details of the soul contract are decided by the teacher you choose. The five of us have different terms. We specialize in different things. Akbar, elemental power and long-range fighting. William, assassination and just all-out mass murder. Daisuke, politics and other intricacies. Caesar, scouting, and hunting. Me? Well, I will just take all of the virtual class people out there! Of course, we will teach other things, but those will be our focuses. For all of us, there is only one term that will stay constant, and that is to remain loyal and not change your leader no matter what."
With this, he had put forward the offer. He just needed to wait for what his peers, or future students thought.
There was a long moment of silence. Brian knew this would happen as this was a big decision. A life-changing one. He felt as if the time he had given was not enough so he stated:
"Anyone who is interested contact us before the day ends, we will be outside."
And just like that, the five turned around and began to leave.
"Wait a moment! I will join!"
Someone had spoken up. Humans were like sheep. They were uncertain about things until there was a leader. With this person speaking up, one by one, around 50 people shouting, "I will sign it!"
"Hahaha! Ok! Good choice. Everyone who wants to sign the contract, follow me. Let us show the adults that we are not to be messed with!"
With that, he turned around again, but this time, his team was followed by almost half of court 1.
Brian had a smile plastered from ear to ear. He had finally taken the first step to his dream.
