Truth and dare - Devon's ver

"Nah! Truth or dare is too lame. People always choose truth only, no fun! How about truth AND dare?" Lyn challenged.

"sure!" Devon replied swiftly eager to start.

That was, until he noticed the 'up to no good' glint in Lyn's eyes.

Oh no what will this lunatic make me do this time? Devon was curious but yet at the same time scared to know. Lyn is as unpredictable as the weather, or even more! Moreover, a lunatic like Lyn can easily think of the weirdest stuff.

Ugh I have a bad feeling about this..why did I even agree to this?

As each second passed, the fear in Devon amplified even more. They say words can kill, that is a lie! Sometimes staying silent is scarier than words.

"Aha! I dare you to..tell Greggy; 'Mrs Greggs, I luvvv your hair sooooo much! Soooo much that I can't take my eyes off them and listen to your wonderful lessons' and as for truth, do it in the 'shoot, shag marry' way; your mum, your dad and Greggy"

Devon: ...

...Seriously? Greggy's hair again? I should've known! That lunatic was obsessed with her since day one. But why drag me to this TT and wow is Lyn trynna make me gay and ruin my parents' marriage? So mean! Wait till its my turn

As Greggy was snoring away, Devon answered the truth first

"Obviously I will shoot Greggy, ...shag my dad and marry my mum..."

"Ooh you're gay? Haha I should've known!" Lyn teased cheekily

Oh, you little...!

Hearing that, Devon was really mad. The once cute and whiny Devon now turned into a demon fuming with steam coming out of him. He stared daggers at Lyn. If looks could kill, that was it! His anger can be felt by the heat that is radiating off him, contributing to global warming around the world.

Lyn felt intimidated as usual but she never forgot the promise she made to herself; to draw Devon's face when he's angry

Before the demon changed back to Devon, Lyn hurriedly doodled his fuming face when he was not looking. Although it was just a doodle, it did somewhat resemble Devon - especially the way his mouth curled into a belligerent snarl. If you thought that Devon couldn't get any angrier, you are wrong. Upon seeing this, Devon almost bellowed at Lyn.

"ooh please stay like this while I draw you" Lyn said, clearly enjoying the more angry Devon got. Forced to hold in his anger, he hissed at Lyn. However, that woke Greggy up.

"What's the matter Devon?" Greggy asked, surprised

"Go on~" Lyn beckoned to Devon like nothing had happened

"I- Mrs Greggs, I love your hair..so much...! So much that I can't..take my eyes off them and..listen to your wonderful lessons.." Devon could barely force his words out. Lying was hard for Devon as he is honest by nature. Moreover, what he said completely contrasts how he felt

"Thanks for loving my hair, I love it too! But although I know my hair is awesome, you should concentrate on my lessons instead. Alright since I'm in a good mood now, both of you are dismissed!"

"thanks.."

well that was not awkward at all, Devon thought.

While Devon was feeling uncomfortable and awkward, the lunatic, Lyn, was totally enjoying their reactions. She even wanted to video it, but she thinks that the demon might kill him. After all, she already added his angry and unglam face to her collection of doodles. Luckily due to Devon's dare, Greggy's mood was uplifted and they were dismissed. If not, who knows what the demon will make her do (dare) and confess (truth)!

Although Lyn could escape this time round, it's inevitable for her to face the demon's wrath as they sit together. However it was better for Lyn to face it tomorrow for he would be less angry ...right?

*Devon's POV*

"both of you are dismissed!"

what?! I didn't even get to torture her, yet we're dismissed?! Is there even justice in this world? Soo unfair! When I was bored to tears, Greggy had to pms and not let us go. Yet when it's my turn to torture her, she got away with it! I should list out a list of things for her to do and confess and choose the worst one out of all the possible tasks before I forget!

When he reached home, the first thing he did was to search online for possible dares and truths. Here are some examples of

some dares like:

-slap the first person you make eye contact with (excluding the person that initiated the dare)

-shout "I'M A CRAZY LUNATIC THAT IS IN LOVE WITH GREGGY'S HAIR" (this was created by him of course)

-post the most unglam pic of yourself to the whole class

-poledance in public

-steal something

...

some truths like:

-the biggest lie you ever said

-tell me a secret of yours that no one else knew

-tell me someone else's secret

-rank the person you like most to the person you dislike most in descending order

-shoot shag marry your best friend, your mum, your dad

...

Although he managed to shortlist 3 dares and truth out of 10+ dares and truths that were suggested, the 3 dares and truths seems equally hard. As such, he tried all the shortlisted dares and truths to see which will he be more unlikely to do if he was Lyn.

Aha! Just wait till Monday, Lyn. A devilish smirk flashed across Devon's face

She really thought that Devon will forget about the truth and dare since that was the last day of the week. As such, she slept peacefully during the weekends. Little did she know that, that was the calm before the storm!
