Bloodline of Death (II)

Immediately after kowtowing, Feng Yang Zhe told Liuyun to rest up properly and they will start training once he fully recovered.

Liuyun laid back on his bed to rest and closed his eyes to think about everything that happened today. He snuck out with Feng Hanyan and he almost got killed while Feng Hanyan was almost raped, remembering everything, he clenched his fists tightly and swore solemnly in his heart to never ever let himself get into such a situation anymore… Not for him, but for Feng Hanyan who suffered from this experience.

"Liuyun, can I come in?"

Hearing Feng Hanyan's voice made Liuyun snap back to reality instantly and he started getting flustered. He hurriedly stood up to rush towards the door but his body was weak from his injuries and he fell head first onto the ground. Thump!

"Ouch… that hurts…"

"Liuyun, are you okay?!"

Suddenly hearing a loud thud coming from inside Liuyun's room, Feng Hanyan hurriedly rushed in and upon seeing Liuyun laying on the floor and moaning in pain, Feng Hanyan started panicking and rushed to help him out immediately.

"Liuyun! Liuyun! Don't die please! Don't leave me behind!"

Beads of tears started to leak out of the corner of her eyes as they drip onto the face of the young boy in her embrace.

Liuyun heard what she said and immediately his heart started to throb faster. He held her hands which were gently holding his face and with slightly blushing expression, he kindly and warmly comforted her:

"Yan'er, don't worry, I won't die without your permission, you saved my life, now it belongs to you. If you want me to go left I will never ever turn right, I will definitely not die if you don't want me to."

Afterwards, Liuyun strongly embraced the crying little loli in his arms as he caressed her head, whispering sweet words into her ears. Feeling a warm sensation in her, Feng Hanyan felt her entire body relaxing and as if all her pent out stress was released, she suddenly felt fatigued and fell asleep in Liuyun's arms.

Seeing the worn out girl sleeping in his arms peacefully as if nothing in this world could ever disturb her, Liuyun felt a sense of helplessness as he set the little loli right beside him and he laid down beside her to sleep at her side. Feng hanyan had a cute expression on her face as she slept, her expression made Liuyun mesmerized as he admired her sleeping face for a while before he snapped back in reality.

"Ugh… she is too cute…"

Silently he pressed his lips onto the puffy cheeks of Feng Hanyan as he whispered to her knowing fully that she is asleep.

"When we are older… I still want to be with you, I hope by then, you will say yes."

Saying so he closed his eyes and followed Feng Hanyan to the dream world.

The next day Feng Hanyan woke up and saw Liuyun sleeping beside her, she blushed as her fantasies started to pop up in her mind while she thought about what Liuyun could have done to her while she was asleep.

But she looked at his face once more and saw a childish looking face asleep and so peacefully at that. She was stunned for a few moments before she started to giggle lightly. She got off the bed softly and left the room, murmuring something that only she knew.

Life was truly peaceful during Liuyun's recovery period. No one bothered him and he recovered quickly due to his personal medical treatments. In an astonishing short period of 4 days, he had already fully recovered. This was monstrously fast for someone who had suffered heavy injuries, immediately after he recovered, he went to look for his master Feng Yang Zhe, to begin his cultivation training.

"Liuyun, although you are currently considered to be at the Origin Stage Low level, you broke through to it when you awakened your withering bloodline, and due to your lack of a foundation in your cultivation base, your current state cannot be considered to be truly a cultivator of the Origin stage."

"So you want me to start reinforcing my foundation?"

"Yes."

Seeing that his disciple was on the same page as him made him feel happy, no one liked teaching a slow learner that cannot understand anything even after many explanations. His disciple understood his intentions very quickly but it was also partially due to him being slightly direct about it.

"Now, feel the Qi in your surroundings and gather them in your Taiyi acupuncture point."

"Yes!"

The Taiyi acupuncture point is below his stomach area and as a doctor how can Liuyun not know about it. He quickly tried to sense and seek out the Qi surrounding him, but 2 minutes in, he realized he couldn't sense it at all. He started to become demotivated thinking that he has no talent for cultivation, then he noticed that a strange feeling started to burst forth within him. His senses became keener and he became attuned to his surroundings. It was as if he was part of it himself.

Qi is a natural energy in the air and ground. It was not something you can seek out but something you feel and accept, this is because it is already around you. He slowly began absorbing a small strand of Qi before circulating it into his Taiyi point thus forming a Whirlpool that draws in even more Qi. Liuyun was so concentrated in absorbing and circulating that he did not notice his master's terrified expression.

"This brat absorbed Qi and even started circulating it in just a few minutes?! Even the head of the clan had taken 2 days to do so, and even so, he was already considered a peerless genius… This brat… might be a godly genius. Hahaha!"
