As he traveled aimlessly around the forest, his thoughts drifted around from time to time. He was thinking about all sorts of things but he still focused on driving.
After a few hours or so, Wan saw the ray of sun lights signalling that he is at the end of the large forest. As he reached the place, Wan saw a vast plain. He was quite excited for a few seconds but his excitement died down immediately.
"Those monsters could be anywhere."
Truthfully, Wan is scared to go out of the forest right now.
He wouldn't know if when would something like that monster earlier would pop up but then again its not that this forest is entirely safe either.
"I'll look for a shelter first. This place has those two big monsters out there and I am considered to be far away from them. I didn't see any monsters while driving away either, this might be a good place to stay. As some people also said, the darkest place is always under the lamp."
As a human, he wanted to see if there is civilization anywhere he could go to. People needed other people to exist. This is what Wan was currently thinking right now but he made up his mind to put his feelings away for now. He decided to first follow the guide especially that in this world where monsters and all kinds of entities roam, he cannot rule out the possibility that he is the only human here.
After looking a shelter through the woods, Wan spotted something unusual.
Its was a huge tree with an open circular hole on the trunk. The tree was isolated from the other taller trees as it was a smaller version but a relatively wider one.
"It looks like the other trees stayed away from this one so the space around it is apparently wide. Light rays from the sun could also enter freely due to the distance giving its place a perfect afternoon shade. A hole? is it what I think it is?"
Its just like a common tree in there but whats unusual is he could see a hollow hole inside the tree.
Wan immediately popped out an idea of a tree house.
"A hole inside a tree, the tree was as big as a building. It should be as big inside too."
Wan had found his target for making a shelter.
He began inspecting the tree from inside first.
"Obviously its dark, I'll take out some lighting first."
Wan took out a relatively big lamp from his inventory.
As the whole inside of the tree was illuminated, Wan saw that the inside was very clear.
There are no roots hanging around which he needed to cut, no dead branches inside that he needed to clean and more importantly. It looks like somebody had occupied it earlier than him.
"A human used to stay here."
"A table, a lamp and a bed. The interior was big but looks like the owner was long gone. The bed looks like its been untouched for several years already.
Ill just clean everything later."
Wan took out some light bulbs and installed them on the wall of the tree with the use of a ladder and an electric hand drill from his inventory. The bulbs lit up the whole interior and wan began to drill a hole beside each bulb.
"Good thing I brought rechargeable lights. I could just charge them through electricity."
Wan also drilled some holes for a cabinet where he could put the small generator that he brought.
After cleaning the whole interior with a vacuum cleaner. Wan kept the old items inside like the bed and table in his inventory and took out the beds and tables that he brought from earth.
He also noticed that the floor was made from the smooth surface of the tree wood. One could see that the floor was carved manually.
"The past owner was quite diligent."
After fixing the whole interior Wan then checked up the tree exterior.
The roots around the tree can be considered a natural barrier against all physical attacks.
Wan tested to chop the one of the roots to check its durability.
Wan felt the the tree was just as durable as those back in earth but feeling its density, Wan gave up the thought of carving up a new entrance by using his chainsaw.
"A new door that was not so high up would be nice. The entrance was about ten feet above the ground so a ladder is really needed to go high up. It looks like I need to make some more major adjustments."

Another several hour passed by...
--
After doing his adjustments like setting up a water tank, installing solar panels, more light bulbs and other "Small Extensions", Wan set up a table and a tent on the nearest open flat ground.
"Due to the inventory, Work has been very easy."
Wan was very pleased with his -unlimited inventory- as he could carry big things effortlessly and install them in no time at all.
The biggest rewards for him was that he also became confident enough to defend himself due to his "Small extensions" that he installed around his tree house.
After fixing everything, Wan then decided to set up a bonfire and began to prepare himself some barbecued meat.
"What if some wild animal came after I prepared my meal? I mean its a seasoning filled barbecue to the brim so it should smell good right after. Or maybe some wolves would smell it and attack me later. Worst, there could be those magical creatures that was not even recorded by fantasy books. Well yeah I did my research about them but what if they really exist here? I would be dead after just few days if they really do. But I can't not eat right?
Maybe Ill just setup some machine guns near my food."
After Wan prepared his bonfire, table and a Browning M2 .50 caliber machine gun, it was already dark and the sun was about to set.
Wan also finished marinating his barbecue and making a skewer as he got ready for his first night in the other world.
"Well I went so far as setting up a bonfire barbecue with a machine gun beside me,
so why not go all out?"
