Alice makes eye contact with Gale. She sees the darkness in his eyes. "There is no more will to fight in this one," she thinks to herself. "Pft, what a pathetic weakling."
Alice withdraws the sword from Gales heart. She takes a step back and releases the sword from her hand. Before it can reach the ground, it shatters into tiny pieces and disappears with the wind.
Gale falls to the ground. Blood saturates the ground beneath his lifeless body. His fragile heartbeat is gone.
The tribal members watching are all paralyzed with fear. After witnessing the death of their greatest warrior, they lose all hope.
Alice retracts her attention from the dying warrior. She walks toward the surrounding villagers and scans through the group of hunters. They begin to shake uncontrollably as she approaches them.
Alice stops in front of the group and releases a second level of her aura. The hunters drops down to their knees from the frightening pressure. Alice shouts out towards the bushes, "It's safe now, come out Ursula!"
Ursula steps out from the bushes. Compared to Alice, Ursula's ability isn't meant for combat. She plays a support role, similar to a majority of the witches in the Holy City of Tequila.
It was rare for a witch to be a combat type. If all witches had a fighting type ability, something as simple as overthrowing the Kingdoms, could be done with ease. However, this was also the reason why there was so much power variance between witches.
Ursula activates her ability, "eye of vision!" A third eye opens in the middle of her forehead. She places two fingers on the third eye and shoots an imaginary beam towards the sky. Her ability allows her to see everything within a 25 mile radius. She can choose to magnify it and focus on specific regions as if she gains a bird eye view with the sight of an eagle. Ursula magnifies her vision to the burning village to searches it's surroundings. She brings her vision back into first person view. Her third eye closes. The longer she uses her magical powers, the more energy she consumes. "Several villagers have escaped into the forest and are heading up north," she shouts to Alice.
During the chaos, several villagers took advantage of the situation to run. Alice snickers "It doesn't matter if they inform the other tribes, their actions are trivial."
Ursula walks towards Alice and discusses her initial concerns, "I thought it was strange at first, but after seeing how this village operates, I understand why there is a lack of tribal women." For the tribes, tribal women were only seen as an object for sex and reproduction. Girls were sacrificed at birth to keep the female population low. For the barbarians, men were idolized as kings. A mighty hunter like Gale could easily be considered a god.
"It's a blessing in disguise," she says to Alice. "Only women are able to become witches. With such a low population of females. the chances of finding a witch among any of these tribes is slim," she thinks as she lets out a sigh of relief.
Alice nods at Ursula as to show her agreement. "Let's focus on our mission," she demands. "If we combine the number of barbarian tribes within a 25 mile radius, we should have approximately 5,000 slaves to control at our disposal," a sly grin creeps on her face as she thinks to herself. Watu is a tiny village compared to the distant tribal villages. "If we can capture all the barbarians of the North, we could easily manage to control a large enough army to shake the whole world!" her eyes shines with passion as she shouts in her mind.
"Let's take this batch of slaves with us first," she exclaims to Ursala. "Lady Grace will be ecstatic when we share our discovery with her. It looks like exploring the northern region was a great idea after all." Alice materializes a long iron chain. Attached to the chains are cuffs spaced out about 3 feet apart. The cuffs were set up in such a way to tightly lock around the neck. Dangling from the chains were handcuffs. This equipment was perfect for transporting slaves as it didn't limit their ability to walk, but still restrained their hands from any reckless action.
Alice has the ability to recreate the weapons and equipments that she touches. However the drawback is she can only generate one item at a time. The higher the quality of the weapon or equipment she generates, the more energy she consumes.
With the help of Ursula, Alice gathers up the remaining members of the barbarian tribe and starts chaining them up. "Alright, it looks like that's all of them," Ursula says to Alice as she pats the dirt off from her hands.
Just as they were about to leave the village, Alice notices a slight movement in the corner of her eyes. She looks towards the seating area of the tribe and sees a wolf pelt laid out on the ground. In the center of it, she sees an abnormal shape hidden underneath a fur blanket. She picks up a decent size rock on the ground and chucks it at the abnormal shape. "OWW," the abnormal shape yells out.
She walks towards the fur blanket. "You can't hide from me," she yells out as she pulls the blanket off. To her surprise she sees two villagers crouching. One is a male about the age of 20, while the other is a young female about the age of 12. They begin to shake in fear as they realize they have been exposed.
The young girl takes up every ounce of courage in her body to react. She jumps up and turns towards Alice. She takes a warrior stance in front of the man and prepares herself to fight. She quickly glances at man behind her and says, "don't worry Amon, sister will protect you."
