Let's make a deal.

Lily was a cute but naive girl, and Avery had every reason to tug her.

"If they catch up to us Lilly, we're toast, so sorry about this!"

Lilly had didn't overheard the lady scream about their find, but everyone passed the sixth Qi Empowerment stage did. They were getting surrounded and Avery had no choice but to call out his weapon summons.

His weapon summons was something a Suit. When he put it on, his hand was covered and looked like steel.

Once he grew in power, his weapon, much like a spirit beast, would increase its dan. It was at the second Dan, which was the best time for it to bloom, and it only currently could cover one part of his body.

"Heh heh heh, the little brat thinks we mean him harm... We just wanted to buy that book off of you..."

Auryn took out her staff as Lilly scratched her head. "Uhm... you two realize who these are right?"

The men didn't seem to care and started approaching with menacing grins. It was like their eyes saw only money, and had no concerns or morals. It was almost as if these men were born killers.

'Appraise'

[Ding! 6 Hostiles l 8th-10th Qi Empowerment Stage]

Avery and Auryn already had a plan in mind as she spun her staff and Lilly stayed back starting to realize they were actually being serious.

"You... you two are really going to fight them," She fell down shaking watching her crush Avery run forward. He was already past five feet tall, and his smaller, but beautiful sister sent orbs at his sides.

They both already had cultivated the Twin Cultivation art for six years, and had a more condensed Qi then their foes. As one of their foes found out quickly, they were both very strong. Avery slammed his hand against the steel sword, causing it to shake, these kids were nothing to be taken lightly.

Auryn caused a magic circle to rise under that man's feet. This was a ranged attack called a formulation spell, and it sent ablaze the confident man. The four men looked at their leader and were shocked.

"...they... they're just kids! This isn't possible!"

"We're... but.. but we need that book!"

"Kid, twenty spirit stones... please... please!"

Auryn shook his head as the six men were easily put in place. All he had to do was shake his head, and they ran off as quick as they came.

"Do.. do you think they took pills to grow strong," Auryn said while leaning on her brother's shoulder.

"...Uhm... yeah... that was pretty bad," Avery replied as he walked over towards Lilly and offered her his hand.

"We got to get you home safe and sound princess," he joked pointing at the crown of grass on her head.

"...Ah... so embarrassing," she responded and chided herself internally. 'Now... now he's going to call me princess in a sarcastic way... Nice going Lilly!'

Auryn joined them and lightly tapped her brother's shoulder before another man walked out holding a sword.

"Uhm... the shopkeeper sent me to apologize, but now has offered you a trade... Either that or you two can try and fight me?"

"...You... you're at the Foundation Rising stage... If you tried to fight us, you'd get your entire airship killed," Avery said, "You.. you wouldn't do that... we may be kids, but we're not dumb..."

The man sighed and then tossed over a bag. "Here, all other nine 4th level items for that book. I'll even give you five minutes to look at it, but its an antique of the mitress. If she doesn't get it back... she'll probably higher assassins to kill you two, and then this girl will also die." He blatantly revealed the truth causing Lilly to start shaking...

"Gu-Gu-Gu-Guys! This is a good deal..."

[Ding! System has already downloaded all the contents of the book. It is recommended you take the offer.]

Auryn and Avery sighed before he walked over and handed the book to the gigantic man.

They left holding a bag of nine goods and proceeded back towards the palace.

Eagerly, they sat down on the bed and waited for the system to draft a copy of whatever that book was.
