Avery nodded his head.
"We'll see you there in two weeks, it's a date..."
Lilly blushed before Auryn gently squeezed his leg. 'You don't say it's a date to a girl, Auryn! Don't you realize how cute you are!'
Avery laughed and then nudged his sister away. "Uhm... I meant to say its a deal."
Lilly sighed before the bell rang causing her to have to go back to class.
Avery and Auryn, on the other hand, took their time and walked out into the hallway thinking about the upcoming bizarre.
At the bizarre, there would be an auction, and since Avery had been cleaning the ladies clothes for a year in the sect, he had money to spend. Enough to buy both of them some much-needed accessories.
One thing they both really wanted was a storage ring, which their system wouldn't give to them no matter how much they pleaded.
After what seemed like a few seconds, the day was over, and they were back at their house with their parent's food waiting for them.
That same night, before they went to sleep, they once again cultivated the Twin Cultivation Art. Tonight they decided to do it with their eyes closed and had nothing on their bodies to disturb them from sensing the energies in the room. It was dark, so they were both unable to see anything. In what seemed like a moment, they had reached the tenth Qi Empowerment stage.
Two weeks came and went quickly.
Avery, Lilly, and Auryn met in the Palace before they walked towards the bridge that crossed over towards Astralaga island. They went through Patella island and then arrived at where the bizarre vendors were showcasing their goods.
"Uhm... so... you two are going to protect me," Lilly said as she shivered.
Auryn kind of wished she had Keva with her right now, and tried to calm her down. "Yes... Lilly... If any man tries to put you on his ship, we'll cut his greedy hands and sell them."
Avery was in his own world looking at the women that barely strung together tops over their bodies.
"Ah... Avery... these people put on clothes for us when they arrive... I heard in Attenborough it's so hot the women sometimes protest by removing their shirts," Lilly said.
Avery nodded before Auryn found herself staring at a few of the women as well. "They've got a nice skin tone." she walked into one of the shops that Lilly wanted to go into ignoring the lecherous glances she got from the men from their allied islands.
They proceeded up the stairs and bought a few items from a nice vendor. He even had enough tips from washing bras and panties well that he got an extra storage ring for Lilly. However, there was another place that they went to where the items were much harder to gauge. It was an event called the guessing fair, and only ten out of 200,000 items were worth purchasing.
However, they had a system, so they walked over to a shredded book and picked it up before the system confirmed their choice.
"Ah! We have one winner," A cheerful lady exclaimed before everyone turned with covetous looks towards Auryn and Avery.
"You... you're not supposed to announce it, lady," Avery said clutching it from her clammy hands.
"Ah... well... it's not every day we have a winner. In fact, you two are the first person in ten villages to pick up an item... How exactly did you--"
"We're going to have to go now Avery..."
"--do it..."
Avery shrugged his shoulders and slammed down two spirit stones, the currency for this market, and grabbed Lilly by the arm as he was on his way out.
A few shady looking men were lurking in the shadows, as Lilly unsuspectingly followed along.
