I felt like the room was becoming distorted as everything seemed to slow down. I turn and see the wall I stood by was starting to change and distort.. What was happening!? I feel a powerful force pulling at me and everything in me fights against it but it seems like I'm not strong enough.


Fear grips at my heart as I turn to look at Rune in panic and see him and Leon both looking at me with similar looks of fear and panic. Everything's in slow motion as I reach out to Rune and see him reaching out to me. His eyes flashing, looking as if they're glowing as a fierce look crosses his handsome face. His strong fingers brush my thinner, paler fingers as everything suddenly disappears.


I suddenly feel like someone threw me into a washing machine and hit the spin cycle. Just when I thought I couldn't take anymore I land hard on solid ground. Concrete to be more accurate. I feel my breakfast threatening to come back up but I take several deep breaths and push it back down.


My head slowly stops spinning and I realize Fig is still on my shoulder holding on for dear life. I look up to find Ryder himself watching me with his cold blue eyes. My heart jumps into my throat as I try to make sense of what just happened. How was I here.. where was here? I look to see a very attractive woman behind Ryder watching everything with a smile.


"So glad to see you again Syn. I hope you find your stay here.. enjoyable." Ryder says with a dark grin causing my insides to freeze. I'm sooo very screwed.. When he didn't get an answer from me he turns to a servant behind him and says "Put her in the room that was prepared." he looks at me one last time before turning around and walking away. The beautiful woman follows closely behind him but doesn't say a word.


The servant he was talking to was none other than Keen... "We meet again.." He says with an evil grin. "You can either follow me on your own two legs or I can "help" you." He says with a little too much joy. I shiver and do my best to find my legs. They weren't going to kill me? What was going on? 


I do my best to quickly stand but find it hard. Why did it feel like I was just hit by a bus!? I look around what looks like a prison cell and do my best to calm my racing heart. "This way.." Keen says and walks away. I feel Fig shivering and I pet him lightly trying to tell him it was okay even if I was shaking in fear myself.
