Kael Cor wakes to find himself in a dungeon, as a newly awakened vampire. He has to struggle through rules and social structures that he has no understanding or memories of to survive.

 With pure luck and a system that wants him to succeed for its own ends, he climbs to a position of power within the vampire community. With enemies outside the dungeon they are all living in, breathing down their backs, and enemies within, threatening the hard won peace he has managed to aquire, Kael must find a way to succeed in the life he wants for those he cares about.

<p>I laid back with my eyes closed, a simple smile on my face as my mind and soul were far away from my godly body. I've been focused on the task ahead of me, but I was also focused on being a father. My mind has been split in two after all, and this gave me a chance to actively control my clone and spend some time with my kids at their school. However Cassie was still giving me the cold shoulder even if we've been spending quite a significant amount of time together. But I feel that we were making progress, at least at being friends anyway. </p>

<p>My vision changed, and all of a sudden I found myself along with Joshua and Baeki in the temple of the dragon kings. Emrys, Ashes and Viridian; Joshua's dragon was waiting for us. I guess it was time for them to tell is our next task. </p>
