Chakra Natures: Part-2

"Alright.! I will now explain, so listen carefully as nobody else have realized this fact." He said in an extremely serious face and my ears perked up with attention.

Then, he crouched down and I followed. He then pulled out a piece of cloth with a drawing on it from his pocket and begun to explain while pointing out on the drawing.

"As you might already know, there are five chakra natures. Clockwise from the top: Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth, and Water. The clockwise direction also shows what a particular element is strong against."

"Yes, I already know this, but what does it have to do with mastering all five chakra natures.!?" I asked, a little confused.

"It's doesn't. Just like there's an arrangement for which element is stronger than which, there is one also for which element is able to be converted into which." He then flipped that piece of cloth.

I stared at it in wonder.

"As you can see, when you check your chakra nature with chakra paper, it doesn't simply react to different chakras, differently. Rather, it shows the very essence of every unit of chakra inside your body. I have been studying about chakra for nearly all my life and I have discovered a few things.

The five elements that are found in the human body are again comprised of more base elements." He said, gazing far away at the horizon.

I suppose this is possible. It is kind of like how atoms are made up of electrons, protons, nucleus and other sub atomic particles.

Even though this is a different world with an entirely different system, the theory still holds that the society would keep on growing and advancing as more and more mysteries unravel them selves in front of those who seek them and in turn, more mysteries would then present them selves for them to unravel.

After a pause, he continued.

"As for which of the five kind of chakra is comprised or exactly how many and which elements, I do not know, but I do know of two base elements the most of the five are comprised of. I call them the element of change and force. They are as they sound.

When the water chakra is passed through the chakra paper, it turns wet because some molecules of the paper are turned into water. Hence, it is comprised of element of change and an unidentified(1) one.

When the fire chakra nature is passed through, it burns slowly, then catches on fire because some of the molecules of the paper have caught on fire, then the fire spreads. It is comprised of element of change and an unidentified(2) one.

When the earth chakra passes through, it crumbles, because some molecules that have changed, are heavier than the rest, hence it is comprised of element of change and an unidentified(3) one.

In case of the wind nature, the paper splits, because there is an invisible force generated which pull the paper in opposite directions, hence it is comprised of element of force and an unidentified(4) one.

In case of lightning, it shrinks because of a shrinking force and generate a very little heat, so it is comprised of element of force and change, but the unidentified(5) element here is similar to fire.

So, earth, fire and water can be converted into each other with practice and hard work while lightning can be converted to fire and wind easily. It is extremely difficult to convert wind to any other element." (Big Daddy: everything will be explained in the future.)

"Is lightning the only element that is directly connected to other two elements.? I mean it doesn't make any sense at all, if you ask me, there are too many unidentified ones here." I asked, now extremely confused, but somehow I understood.

Without the help of proper technology, even my genius father can not observe chakra at the microscopic level. In-fact it is already astonishing that he could figure out this much on his own.

"I can understand why you would think that way, but let me tell you something. There are not only these five elements. In fact, there are 128 characters in Uzumaki secret fuinjutsu script and each one represents a separate element. Lightning is the only element that directly connects to two other elements that are among these five elements. In truth, the other four also show the signs of being directly connected to the other elements, but not among these five. (Big Daddy: Kind of like the periodic table)

As for why they can not be converted into elements, other than these five, if they exist and even if they are directly connected to them. That's because after thousands of years of practice, human body is only able to bear the essence of these five elements. If you want to wield other elements, special bloodlines are required. They are called kekkei genkais. For example, ice element shows that it is directly connected to water and wind as wind pressurizes the water to turn it into ice. But, even if you manage to get to the point of conversion for ice from water, You wouldn't be able to use ice at all, as you don't have the special bloodline for it."

After hearing all of that, I was stupefied for some time as I was comprehending. My father was very patient as he let me ponder.

"I see. So, according to this, I will be able to use fire and wind elements soon, but I still don't understand why your technique is different. I mean why is it possible to use other elements with the efficiency of the original." I said after finally calming down.

"That's because a person's natural element is actually the nature of their physical chakra. Spiritual chakra doesn't have a nature and can be changed by a strong intent, developed from training. When somebody is said to have mastered their chakra nature, it actually means that they are able to change all of their spiritual chakra to the same chakra nature of the physical one by strong intent.

However, a problem arises when they try to master a chakra nature not their own. In this case, even if they are able to change the nature of their spiritual chakra to the desired one, physical chakra remains the same and resists, hence the maximum efficiency can not be ensured. My technique temporarily changes the physical chakra without causing any harm. As for the details, you need to learn all the medical books I have given you."

At this point, I didn't have any other questions, but that didn't mean I wasn't stupefied by all the things I have heard today.

Father then left me in the park as he body-flickered away from there. He must have figured out that I needed some time to think. This world isn't like the Naruto world I knew, but one thing is certain. It makes me excited. The unknown and the thrill.

I of course also need to learn fuinjutsu. After today, I have made up my mind to save the Uzumaki village or at least the Uzumaki clan. I don't know how I am going to do that and I need a plan surely, but I am going to.
